Yes, you can order books that we don't have on the shelf. We have access to 30 million books that we can order for you. Speak to a bookseller when you are the bookshop or call 01865 792792 to place an order. You can place orders online at Blackwells.co.uk and choose to have it delivered to your address or collect from one our bookshops. You can also pre-order books that are yet to be published, often including signed copies. If the book is out of print, you can visit our Secondhand Department at Blackwell's Broad Street or search for Used copies on our website.

Visit the bookshop during our open hours. If you want to make sure, it will be in stock for when you come in, visit Blackwells.co.uk. If the book is on the shelf, you will have the option to Reserve it. You will then receive a reservation confirmation within a couple of hours (when the bookshop is open) to confirm it is ready for you to collect. If you would like the book delivered to you and you live within the Oxford ring road, we have the Blackwell's Bike Delivery service. Bike Delivery is same-day before noon or next day, it runs Monday to Friday. Call us on 01865 792792 to place the order.

Blackwell's 48-51 Broad Street reopens on Monday 12 April at 10am. Our opening hours will be 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

The bookshop is wheelchair accessible. The old building has been adapted to allow for wheelchair users to browse freely. There is an accessible door with lift on the right-hand side of the shop as you face it. Ring the bell and the door will open. This door gives access to the Ground Floor, the First Floor and Cafe and the Second Floor via the customer lift. To visit the Music Shop and the Norrington Room, please enter through the Music Shop and use the lift to go underground. The only part of the bookshop which is not accessible by wheelchair is the Philosophy and Sociology Department in the basement; booksellers will be very swift to bring any books up to the Customer Service Desk in the middle of the room. There is a key accessible toilet on the First Floor.
