Agreed with above reply, it depends greatly on the ward and illness. . But assuming it is not ICU or Maternity; then although the meal times - 12-1:30 & 5pm are avoided i found that visitors seemed to be allowed at most other reasonable times ( i was in orthopedic ward after a pretty rough break to arm/shoulder) and as i said, .. after any surgeries etc were out the way then visiting is quote flexible.

This will vary from ward to ward, necessarily. I will say however that they are really considerate toward individual need, so your circumstances may be a factor too.

For my wife's xray on her shoulder,, have always received the best treatment, and get fed up with negative comments about the hospital.

If you have a family member in icu or stroke ward you ask for a form from ward and its free.There are others but I had a relative in ward 1

Don't think they were as someone eventually answered then when put through to ct.scan department and asking for a call back still waiting

I don't think so. They may make exception under certain circumstances though. Best to call if you can and ask them.

If you have been told to have a blood test at the JPH. You can go and have it anytime. Allso they are not very busy at the moment.
