Hi there, if you call the customer hub they should be able to advise. But I believe if you have a disability and require adaptations e.g shower, to your home then this will only be done following an assessment from an occupational therapist (as some of the local authorities will cover the cost of installing them in a housing association property).

It depends on your circumstances, and of course how many people have bidded. But as a general idea it took me nearly 1 and a half years of bidding. Then one day out of the blue, one of my bids shortlisted, I was given a viewing within days after that bid went through and moved in about 2 weeks later. Obviously it might vary for some people and bare in mind I wasn't in a high band at the time. It's changed now I think? But under homesdirect I was in band B. I hope this helps ??

So long as your house has a private entrance/exit point not shared with other residents you are allowed pets. I do not believe there are any breed restrictions.

Hi Wendy, you can register on homes.midlandheart.org.uk and apply for properties through there. They're allocated on a first come first served basis. It's also a good idea to register with your local council if you haven't done so already as 50% of all housing association properties have yo be advertised on there instead.

First make sure your on your local Council housing list then you can apply for Midlabd Hearts housing more swiftly, phone up Midland Heart for an application or you maybe able to do it online. Check out their website for more up to date details.

I'd let Midland Heart know about that...Show them evidence to back back it up. You're paying for a service that you're not receiving, and they're charging M.H. for the privilege

No they are not responsible for the actions of tenants the tenants are responsible for their own actions and the actions of their visitors, MH are able however to deal with antisocial behavior issues if there is evidence of that, which is why they asked you to phone the police to make official reports of the antisocial behaviour. There is a line between kids being kids and kids being antisocial, MH does not have the ability to determine if this line has been crossed but the police do. Please follow their advice and if you have further issues you might find your local Councillor, MP or the Citizens advice bureau are better able to help you handle your issues with MH than Google maps ;)
