Hi Gabriel, Our pension funds are managed by some of the largest and most experienced money managers in the world, including State Street Global Advisors, BlackRock, Legal & General and HSBC. You can find more information on our different plans and their investments on our plans page here: https://www.pensionbee.com/plans. The holdings in the PensionBee Personal Pension are structured as long-term insurance contracts, which means that if something happens to the money managers and the FSCS accepts the claim, they would cover the pension at 100% with no upper cap. Yes access is easy and funds are transfered into your bank within a few weeks, remember to keep records of the amounts taken and the percentage of life time allowance used. This information is required for all withdrawals after the first one.

I found Pension Bee to be very helpful and responsive with me and efficient consolidating my pensions together different circumstances would be best to discuss withe their representatives on individual basis

Once you've transferred your pensions, it's up to to decide how long you would like to keep your old pension documentation and generally speaking, this should be done until you know that you no longer need it. The Government recommends that you should keep the P60 which your pension provider sends you every year for reference. Transferring this type of pension can be a little tricky, because we want your pension to stay open so you can keep receiving those important contributions from your employer. This means that lots of customers choose to leave their active pensions where they are for now, in order to transfer them fully when they leave their current employment. Hi Zita, thanks for your question! You should be able to transfer your Virgin Rail pension, but we would check with your provider for any charges or exit fees you may face first. Unfortunately we aren't a pension tracing service, so we'd need some information about your old pension before we could transfer it. There is a free pension tracing service available though, which may be able to assist you with this (https://www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details). Hi Michelle, thanks for your question! You should be able to transfer this pension, but we would check with your provider for any charges or exit fees you may face. You will have an account manager who will keep you up to date throughout the transfer, and be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
