Teign housing rang me yesterday regarding another unrelated matter. They have agreed my neighbour should extend his garden, but cannot have it all as its communal.I think reign housing have been fair about it. We've got a communal area to use (including the neighbour) & he also has a reasonable sized garden for his self

You would need to request in writing what you want, there's no guarantee that permission would be granted. Most Teign Housing properties already have gch. Could be worth checking if the property is on the scheduled improvements list first.

You need to apply for social housing. Either go in our phone up and ask for the housing need form. There is A LOT of people on the waiting list for homes so wouldn't hold your breath about getting one but you may get lucky x

Depends on how long you've been in your property and where you live. Buckfastleigh for example if you move in there after 2004 is exempt for the right to buy (or acquire as it is now). There is more information on the teign housing website.
