How much does living at Abbeyfield House, Clitheroe cost?

What activities are there?
Activities include music and movement, word games, coffee mornings, arts and crafts, film afternoons, armchair aerobics, growing fruit and vegetables, pet therapy, communion, taking residents out to the shops, and we have a church service organised by one of our residents.
Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, the house is accessible for those who use wheelchairs.
How many rooms are there?
There are 40 rooms each with ample space, en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin and are furnished with carpets, curtains, bed, wardrobe, drawers, table and chair. We encourage all of our residents to bring their own personal items to make their room feel like a home from home.
How do I apply to become a resident?
Once you've found a home you'd like to move into, you can get in touch directly with the house. Please contact the house by email or phone to arrange a visit and find out more information.
Can my family visit?
Yes, family and friends are welcome to visit you whenever suits, after all, this is your home.
What age do I need to be to live in an Abbeyfield retirement home?
We welcome any person aged 55 years and over to live at Abbeyfield - whether you want to downsize, simply want to live in companionship with others, or no longer feel able to continue living in your own home.
Can you apply for a property in Clitheroe if you are with together housing in Blackburn?
Hi Jenny Anyone can apply for a place at our Care Home. We can visit and assess to ensure we can meet the needs of the potential resident. Abbeyfield at Castle View is sheltered accommodation and anyone can apply. Please visit Low Moor if you need any more info. Best wishes Janet Taylor
