Write a ReviewAldi supermarket at Hall Road offer maximum 3 hrs parking stay. Variety of vegetables are comparatively wider than other local supermarkets. Muffin, bread, cakes, pies are attractive, freshly cooked.
Cheapest supermarkets in the UK. Mainly selling all kinds of products, including fruits, vegetables, all kinds of food items, etc from local British farms and organizations. They are very reasonable and good quality products.
Selection is quite good like any other Aldi, and so are the prices. It is usually quite crowded, making it unpleasant to shop here, specially on weekends. New self-checkout for bigger shopping carts is cool but needs massive improvement in being able to not rely as much on the shop assistants to ignore the wrong weight of the item.
Prices are rising wherever you shop but I still think its cheaper than the big names. I also find you need to look closely at the vegtables to ensure you get the freshest available.
Over the pasted six weeks I have changed my shopping day, Monday to Saturday and next week it will be Sunday. Times have been from 15-00 to 19-00. On every visit the shelves are always half, or more, empty. If it wasn’t so cheap I would …
Have been shopping at M&S usually, so you can imagine the savings I made. But one of the best things for me was the quality of the majority of stuff I bought. Also the dates, I have to say, M&S are not great on their use by dates. Aldi …
It’s okay but when you find that your 30% discount hasn’t been applied at the till and one of your items has been charged twice instead of once you lose faith in the brand.
Messy store, with stock not in the correct place. Lots of items of poor quality, I experienced rude staff, which is very unlike Aldi, which has put me off using this branch of the Aldi Brand Supermarket. Dereham Aldi is friendly so is Fakenham,
Definitely more than I’d expected. Well laid-out with plenty of fresh food items. Good flow through the aisles and enough checkouts to get you out the door.
Great selection of Xmas food etc. It was pretty busy at around 10.30am though. Checkouts were busy but I used the self checkouts. The only annoying thing was that when I went back to my car, someone had scraped the bumper!!!!!
Went here for some of their widely advertised cheap vegetables. When I got there it turns out that they didn’t have any of them available, and the only ones they did have were several times more expensive and certainly not cheap compared to …
Cheapest supermarket by far. Great products. Everything is fresh. Great selection of meat. Would highly recommend Aldi.
Shelves weren’t stacked that well but who gaf it’s aldi
With new self serve checkouts now installed, it makes it a lot easier and quicker to just ‘pop in’ quickly if you’re not doing a huge shop
Pleased to see Aldi has a good range of peat-free compost. Let’s keep peat in the bogs where it belongs.
Not a bad Aldi store at all. Popular and usually quite busy. Selves are mostly always stocked up apart from the odd occasion. …
Shopping near closing time, only 1 till open and a person with 2 trolleys (£300 worth) in front of me. Waited for more than 20 min and I only had 3 items. Please install self serve check outs like other branches have done – would have been less stressful for everyone.
Shop here most weeks not disappointed with the products they sell
Good choice, good prices, great staff. Thank you.
A good place to buy your weekly and monthly groceries at a reasonable price.
Great shop. You get nice items and for good value
Prefer this shop to my local one as it stocks a lot more items. Usually visit other Aldis for my weekly shop,& use my local one for convenience during the week for top up shops.
Good Aldi but gets Very busy at times
The staff are polite, but the place is manic even in the early morning. Trying to shop while dodging staff with supplies for the shelves is interesting. …
Not a bad little ALDI but need to get the car charge fixed out side as it has been broken now for quite some time
I don’t really shop here it’s a okay size nice and clean all ways seen busy
Having shopped in another supermarket for many years, I was recommended by a friend to try Aldi. I was so impressed with the produce and pricing. Fruit and veg is excellent quality and well stocked. Checkout very efficient and friendly staff. About two thirds of my usual spend.
I really enjoyed my shop here! My wife and I always try and guess how much a shop is going to cost us and at every shop we go to we are usually about right but when we did this at ALDI it was about £10 less than expected!
Prices are good always a good deal there… but I hate going though the tills it’s like a race to scan it all, and for a number of people like myself in to much pain to keep up, avoid most of time to avoid the stress of the tills….
Good shop with many of your everyday items available. As usual, only a few of the checkout tills were open causing queues.
A large range of items and cheaper than most supermarkets. You can buy most things for the household here, along with things such as pots, pans, baskets, dumbbells and an ever-changing range of items in the Specialbuys section. Good value for your money and cheaper than most supermarkets.
A local supermarket in UK. You can find variety of goods and foods with reasonable prices.
I left my sunglasses in the store. They put it aside. Got it back 2 days later. Big shout-out to the staff, absolutely legends! Thank you.
Like all the aldi stores, simply put they are a high bar and very good
Great store, everything you need under one roof, great prices,
But above all very friendly polite& helpful staff
Busy on a Friday afternoon
Modern and new tech checkouts …
Plenty of bargains and stuff you can’t get elsewhere. Staff always helpful, cheerful and polite
It’s better now they have self checkouts available.
Ilse’s a bit narrow for a busy supermarket
Good service nice assistance help you all the time only grumble your toilet has been out of use for many months why is this lovely toilet that is a credit to your new store always out of use 🤨 …
Great prices and staff great!
Nice and bright ALDI, plenty of good offers as usual, can get a bit busy but more tolls were opened to ease the crowds.
You will find everything you need here with very friendly service
Me and my partner look a lot younger than we actually are so no surprise in being asked for my id buying alcohol. But this Aldi apparently insisted on seeing my partners as well. And then implied i might be dating someone under age! I am …
Great products and excellent quality. 👌 …
I had to stand, with my handful of items, behind two full shopping carts. What I took from this, is “I’m not welcome here “. Message understood, I won’t be back until self service cash registers are in place.
Good value and good stock levels
Used click and collect service today. I was really impressed with the level of service received. Will definitely be using again. Member of staff was lovely and even put my shopping into the boot of my car lovely chap. Happy customer.
Fair prices, friendly helpful staff. Didn’t have to wait in line very long.
Great shop! its not tiny, but also not huge, meaning its easy to navigate and once you have been a few times you will know it like the back of your hand. Lots of people complain about the lack of ‘on brand’ things, but I have found that the rip-offs are just as good, and cheaper.
Shut 5 minutes early on Christmas Eve. Turned several people away while I was there. I only needed 1 item. Not on. Those desperate last minute items can make or break a Christmas day. Poor show Aldi. Should have shown a bit more Christmas spirit and closed at 6 as advertised, not 5.55.
Massive store compared to my local Aldi. Had everything we needed. Plus the cheeriest check out person I’ve ever been served by in any Aldi I’ve ever visited.
Always a pleasure to shop here. Great products, quality, and service. Excellent value. Parking is easy and convenient.
Limited stock but had what we wanted. Good prices and clean and tidy store.
Shopping in the evening was fine as didn’t have to wait too long for the till, and most products were in stock.
Worst part of the experience was the number of people not wearing masks. It’s …
Excellent value for money. For the Hall Road branch, avoid busy times – it gets packed. They have a good range of meats and cheeses, their own brand ice cream is excellent. Try the Red Fox vintage Red Leicester cheese – it’s great. I also …
Great store with amazing prices. We made a quick stop at Aldi while on a road trip to Latitude Festival.
I found it really enjoyable shopping there, and although I and most people were wearing masks, I felt safe. My nearest one is Diss, but I had to go to Norwich, so thought I would try the Hall Road, and was very pleased. Thank you Mrs jude.
Great products at amazing prices. Very busy Saturday afternoon as you may expect. Despite very fast transaction speed good customer service. Downside is a lot of staff with trollies cluttering aisles. Each one seemed to have their own. Also bread stacks left on floor could be a trip hazard.
Clear social distancing marks, staff being careful to not cross contaminate between customers, overall good experience. Disabled friendly. Member of staff offered to help me with things to my car.. very good experience.
Not always the quickest at clearing empty cartons from the shelves, and sometimes has a rummage sale feel. But good quality food, great prices and the staff are friendly
Good as Aldi can be good
Not sure why they have taken away their Bluetooth headsets to communicate but they now have a lady (assume supervisor) hovering between tills and shouting to other till operators who to close/open and to direct customers. It really is …
Brilliant shopping experience!! Great service in the chiller section & friendly humourous guy on checkouts, defo be getting my salmon & prawns from there.
Plenty of parking as it shares its location with other retailers. Quick to open another till if the checkouts get busy. Special buys to rummage through and a good selection of groceries to choose from at competitive prices.
Milk stocks very low. Good selection of fresh produce.
Till area very busy, only 3 tills open and one had a hold up. Staff friendly as always.
Aldi shopping on Hall Road is excellent, the parking outside is monitored but there are plenty of parking spaces. Entry is level access making it perfect for us wheelchair users. There is one toilet which is wheelchair accessible. The fresh …
I normally shop at the Aldi just round the corner from my home. But if I’m out & about & near to another, I’ll pop in there if I have to grab something. This Aldi is nice & big. The lay out is different to my regular Aldi so it took a bit …
Small parking spaces and the Isles are narrow too but it’s got everything
Much wider aisles than other Aldi stores makes for a better shopping experience. Good choice of items and helpful Staff. Almost worthy of 5 stars but the atrocious parking lanes let it down. Cars come from all directions at speed making it difficult to park at peak times.
Staff member young man on till was very pleasant to all the people going though his till . Cheerful makes it a nice day then.
Very good selection and easy layout. Always a good visit. Great choices and good value
Went in at 9pm this evening and was able to get nearly everything I needed for Christmas. Couple items out of stock but that’s understandable. Staff memeber let me go infront of them on the tills even though he was off shift and doing his shop.
Great shopping there. Good price and good quality shame went shopping today came out got a parking fine. parking slightly out of line. cost me £60 for the privilege of shopping there. new thing on car park uk parking signs not visible unless you look up wont be shopping there again this applies to all of the car park
I never used to shop in Aldi until about a year ago and now it’s my main store to use. Although they don’t have all the main brands that other supermarkets do they have some really lovely food. Their meat selection is incredible. I also …
By far my favourite supermarket in Norwich. Usually very well stocked so I rarely don’t find something I need. Also have been satisfied with their safety measures over the last few months.
Great store, frequent turnover of offers but as a food store it’s fab, clean, good is fresh and there’s plenty of it! It gets very busy so I go soon after opening. Queues tend to move quickly though, staff polite and always helpful.
Visited again today, 9th July 2022, and delighted to see that the Electric Car charge point looked to be repaired (service door repaired with new lock, and warning tape removed), but charging STILL DOESN’T WORK. Car recognises it is …
Do most of our regular shops here. Generally I love it but often can’t get everything we need.
Aldi is always cheap. The only thing that lets it down is that realistically, you cannot really do a full shop there, because the range is sometimes a little limited. Love the middle bit though. All I will say is though, Lidl offers pretty much the same availability, at the same prices.
What can I say even the staff don’t wear masks on the shop floor as told by the government. And shoppers walking around un-challenged not wearing masks. A real shame I can’t give them less than one star.
