My visit to the minor injuries unit of the Infirmary is a pleasure to recount! I dropped in with a problem I was experiencing with my lower eyelid. The staff member at the reception desk was pleasant and very welcoming. My wait to be seen …

Arrived for an outpatient blood test, no other patients waiting room completely empty yet for some reason I’m still sitting waiting some 15 minutes past my appointment time while the staff have a nice chat and talk about what they are going to be doing this weekend. The ward may be fine but outpatients is a jokek

Whilst on holiday my wife tripped and fell. We went to Alnwick Infermary minor injuries unit where they diagnosed a broken finger. The whole process was dealt with promptly; efficiently and in a friendly manner. We would like to express our thanks for the first class treatment and service.

Went to X-Ray dept. No mask used by radiographer yet no fresh air in room. Was told not many people are ill who come to the X-Ray dept!!!! How odd for a hospital and how unprofessional considering the amount of frail elderly on the ward there.

Had to visit the minor injuries unit whilst on holiday. Had an infected finger, that was promptly dressed and given antibiotics. Jill and Ann were superb.

Amazing service. The staff all very kind. Sorted us out in and out within an hour. Only down side was the people coming to A&E for things that people should go to the doctors for. Must be so frustrating for the staff. Also not to forget the lady in X-ray . Thanks to all.

Nice staff, bit hospital is dated and disappointing that the doctor comes around only 2 days a week on ward 1. Seems to be a bit old fashioned

Well, it’s an infirmary and local doctors but staff and Drs are good.
