Brighton Magistrates’ Court reviews

The worst courts to get any information from, they never answer their phones, if they do they disconnect you everytime when they put you on hold, been trying everyday for two weeks. This place is a waste of time and public funds are going to waste as they are not for the public.

The only people who work here efficiently are the front door security.

Surprised they can get anything done, when they only work from 9am – 1pm every day. How about you work more and be available for people? We’re paying your wages after all.

Absolute diabolical phone system. Call the court to be told to ring another number, then sit on hold like we have nothing better to do than sit on the phone for an hour or 5…. WORST PHONE SYSTEM IVE EVER USED. I’d rather ring my doctors which uses what I’d describe as a carbon copy phone system

Death by exile… Coming 11/05/2023.. Public hanging in a courtroom.

Been trying to get hold of the court since December last year, and still cannot get through. Absolutely appalling behaviour from our so called ‘Legal System’ JOKE!

Nobody answers the damn phone.. they even have a queue and it just rings indefinitely… Great justice system 😀

Was left holding in a que on the phone for over an hour…. then the call just cut off. Have e-mailed too and am repeatedly told that there is no case under my name. What a joke!!

This place is excellent and I thoroughly recommend that if you are told to go to court by a policeman or police woman that you come to this place because it has everything you need it has a judge and it has nice police men and police women …

Cannot even get threw. Ended up hanging up after 40 mins of waiting. Phone just rings and rings and rings and rings and rings. I’m glad I wasn’t in a phone box

Can’t contact either by phone or email , number incorrect , email bounces back , I have covid I can’t attend

Absolute jokers keep hanging up you got no chance. Need to call in person

I went there for a statutory declaration matter half an hour before my appointment to the judge. There was a quite a queue, the only usher was late signing me on, there was delay going to the judge by an hour + . Management of this court needs a high improvement

was sentenced wrongly and other person basically got away scot free because of there circumstances

Pleasant relaxed not too busy, staff are great!

Terrible food and accommodation.
Would not recommend

It is an obstruction to justice how the new central administration office has been located to Brighton. How can anyone be expected to defend a court or county court case or even collect a form from their local county and magistrates …
