Another year over a hundred pounds added again to my council tax bill it was over two hundred last year, I work my wages have not gone up for years, do those that decide whether not to consider the tax payer circumstances. austerity measures thought up by political vegetables.

Three long waits for someone to answer the phone, 20 minutes each time. Gave up in the end and contacted the local MP to see if they respond to a letter from them. What a dismal experience.
Appalling service to trawl the website and then be on the phone for over 10 minutes listening to excruciating opera singing..still no answer from phone call tried accessing the forms available which again wasn’t helpful ..just put someone on switchboard and be more accessible…very frustrating …
They just want money money money and money even if your not in the property. They will keep billing you for the rest of your life. Then when you ring up to talk about it. They tell you get legal advice. Complete jokers.

Nobody gets back to you even after leaving lots of voicemails and sending emails. It’s like a black hole.
Shocking incompetence. Absolutely abysmal. Council tax are a nightmare to deal with.
They can be hard work, (Like any council) but persevere with them and you can go very far and receive the answer you want you hear☺
Trying to re-order a recycling bin and the Form “unavailable” how are you supposed to order one when you work and can’t get into the office.
I deal with a lot of councils (Business and Properties) and Burnley ranks close to the bottom. If you are looking to start a business look elsewhere
