Contacted the council about a rubbish issue in the area. They have resolved the issue and the whole area looks better. They removed the source of the problem. I can only say this was my first attempt to contact the council and the response was good.

The service offered by the Council Tax Department of Darlington Borough Council is appalling.The tone of their letters are threatening and the ability to communicate with a real person is limited especially if you are not digitally savvy.

Decently delt with quite efficient
I have just tried to log onto the Darlington Gov Website to book a time to go to the tip and all I am getting is an error. I have tried Chrome, Edge and Internet Explorer. This can not be acceptable as I believe I need to book a time slot to tip my rubbish.
Waited for almost 20 mins for someone to answer the phone, is this acceptable from a government agency, I don`t think so….but once I got through a very helpful and efficient service from the staff I had conversations with.
Totaly shocking you want our money but 5 times that i have rang never to get through there is allways a 30 minute wait and you wait that plus that again on hold have you heard that music for 1 hour to get no were am trying to sort things out i want to talk to someone if i could give you no stars or -5 stars i would
