Well over priced compared to most! I’ve been a Direct line customer for years and I have never paid over £500 for our car insurance, only to be told its £1650 this year!! Sorry but thats just ridiculous. I have since been quoted £638 and now happily insured.

Couldn’t wait to get me out of the hire car once I’d accepted a pay off. They did say I’d not be rushed into getting another car. I got less than 24hrs before the cancelled the hire.

Absolutely shocking customer service, everyone makes mistakes, a good company rectifies those mistakes. Even if that’s with a warm apology. I’m actually speechless. Find a company that values it’s customers.
If I could rate them worse I would. dog needed surgery on one leg which they payed . 8 weeks later he needed the same on the other leg seen by the vets which found no fault there before. Direct line said both leg’s are the same claim and would not pay for the surgery.
