I had a very pleasant experience here today. The security officer lady at the entrance not friendly at all but does her job well. There were two lovely ushers upstairs. A pleasant young man and a lovely older lady with glasses. I was very lucky with the judge. He is a young judge who is fair and very cooperative.

Disgusting. Take forever to answer emails or simply ignore emails sent to them. Never provide answers to specific questions you pose. Shameful. A total waste of taxpayers’ money.

Simply beyond words how utterly useless the staff are in this court. Theres no private organisation that is 39 days behind on opening emails. Tse staff would never last in the private sector

Never answer their phone, never respond to emails, I even visited in person to make a request for some info about a hearing and was told to fill a form and put it into a box (so 1980’s). Suffice to say, they never contacted me even after I did that.

On becoming concerned at delays in a case, I visited the court in person and asked for the above to be brought to the attention of a judge. I was contacted a couple of days later with a hearing date and following the hearing the court were very speedy in processing the paperwork. The service on that occasion was excellent.

I have found them perfectly efficient and helpful on the ‘phone giving advice on procedural matters. It is not always easy to understand how the system works and what you a required to do to help the court (and so yourself), they provide a useful service.

Most incompetent Court I’ve ever attended.
They were supposed to serve the defendant twice and they failed to do so and lost bailiff forms in the process. I came to court twice with no restraining order im place. Making a formal complaint. Unacceptable

Do you actually answer your phone’s ever? I can only imagine if you physically go into Edmonton County Court all you can hear is wall to wall phones being rung and unanswered. Here’s a thought, if you answer the phone and answer people’s questions, the phone might eventually stop ringing as much!

Joke phone’s been ringing for over ten minutes! Doesn’t inform you if there’s any in front of you or they are just refusing to answer. I will give half an hour as I am recording the call and will take this further.

things have changed. they used to be more user friendly, its all operated by money….lack of money means lack of resources….thats the law! and be aware they will not get up for anything during lunchtime between 1-2……. i realised it was 1.30pm when it continued ringing in my ears!

Read the reviews, but was hoping to have a positive experience. Mistakes made on the paperwork, told to attend court when I did not need to. Judge was an angry impatient woman who complained about only having five minutes and did not want to hear what was on the defendants claim. UNBELIEVABLE!!
