Write a ReviewAmazing service!
I was completely new to this hospital as I am a patient at a different surgery. …
I was the first person in the hospital today with my Son. The doctor who saw my son asked me to book an appointment because she felt my thumb was infected. I did, but I have been here for almost 3 hours. I understand that priority is considered but yet, this is appalling. If I don’t need to be seen I would not be here.
Really good and professional service. I struggled to get an appointment with my useless GP and I went to these guys without any appointment – they helped me with less than 1h wait. …
Amazing service walk in and appointments plus follow ups, under 30 minutes wait only on weekday morning (infection requiring antibiotic) or 1h on another occasion. …
An absolute joke, after waiting for 2.5 hours outside & 3.5 hours inside, we were sent home with nothing!!!
This place needs to resolve the waiting outside situation asap, it was freezing …
The man that saw my mum was honestly the most rude doctor I have came across in my life and the ladies at the desk didn’t speak with much professionalism and respect. I understand it’s busy but doesn’t mean they treat us with that service. …
very bad attitude towards patients from the reception , children’s rights are violated , i came at 9 in the morning with 3 sick children, we were already denied help because there are no places although the hospital is not full and works …
Rude, unhelpful, verbally abusive worst doctor ever! Had used walk in clinic before amd my daughter was very ill high temperature, fever, uncontrollable shivering and finally when she threw up i decided to take her to my local gp who said …
Awful awful. They lost my first lot of bloods . I had to rebook with a doctor so 4 weeks later I go only to realise I mucked up the time. I apologise for being 15 minutes late.there is not another soul there but they decide amongst …
Excellent service by very polite staff both admin and medical. Anybody moaning about the wait should try A&E at Darent Valley. …
The most recent time I attended the walk in I suspected that I would be waiting for hours but by chance I was seen within an hour. Staff were lovely and the place was clean and tidy.
I just phoned up to ask he they had any tetanus as my cat bitten both my legs and bleeds. She come along, I get there 5 later and they shut full to capacity. Last time I went as I had a squirrel bite sat there for hours and then she couldn’t give the tetanus as they had be left out of fridge.
Absolutely awful. Waiting in the cold for 1.5 hours then waiting inside to be told i should have booked a gp appointment as if that wasn’t the reason why i was there. The staff were appallingly rude and shouting at patients. What happened to duty of care?
X ray dept is so efficient, I was in and out within about 15 minutes. Staff very professional and friendly. Well done 👍 …
Absolutely shocking level of disrespect from the ladies at the desk! I was questioned and berated by them for leaving with my daughter when the wait was anywhere up to 6 or 7 hours. I was hit with ‘well aren’t you worried about her?’ ‘Well …
Unfortunately no option to leave 0 stars.
My partner took our severely autistic non verbal son who was screaming in agony …
Worst experience ever if you are young do not attend this hospital as an old women who calls herself a “Doctor” tends to call young women “drama Queens” and tries to tell you that your pain is in your head! Pain doesn’t come from mental …
Am still fuming over the way I was treated by the admin/reception staff on the desk and the other women who I believe to be a dr !! but who knows, she didnt even look at me yet alone give us her name or introduce herself. Their attitude …
My son went up there …they haven’t sent the paper work over to our surgery …requesting blood test done by our GP but haven’t let the doctor know what it is for
From what I just experienced on the phone from urgent care. NO!
Tried to explain to whoever just answered the phone at 1pm nov 8th 2022 what my …
They are always busy, the main reason is not being able to see your own doctor.
This is a review for UCC no hospital itself
Well…Where to start? I arrived with my son before 12. Talked to the receptionist about the issue to hear her making a “ugh’ sound like she have had already …
Had cause to visit this morning and was met with the utmost respect from reception to nurse through to Doctor. Everyone made me feel special. 45 minutes from my entering the unit to my leaving. Well done to all involved.
Did not allow us in at 21:19 with the door sign “full capacity” and it was ONE boy with his mother sitting inside!
Brilliant caring staff who worked as quickly as possible to see the patients. A bit of a wait but not as long as first thought Well done to all the team.Your a wonderful bunch.
Rude admin staff but good doctors. This seems to be the norm throughout medical establishments in the south East for some strange reason. Thankfully it is the doctors we really need but have to endure the wrath of those before them as they throw their weight about.
Reception staff are so helpful and friendly. I have had to visit here twice this week as I can not get an emergency appointment for my 1 year old at my doctors. We did not have to wait long and the nurse and doctor where both very caring …
Say they are open till 10 pm. I called at 8pm and they said not to come they closed at 8pm!!! Say that on your website then. I will be making an official complaint. Disgraceful just to get home early. Work your allocated hours.
Took my 3yr to be seen as she had been unwell. Upon arrival at 930am only 5 people ahead of me then it became busy.
There were people with children who came at least 2-3hrs after me and got seen?! …
There 3 doctors working in the afternoon, about 20 patients maximum and the waiting time is 3hrs!
Dr waits at least 20mins in between the patients – no idea why! You can come …
Worst ever hospital, Doctor is taking chances and made patients waiting though kids were so much of sick and hungry, in between patient wait time is almost 30 minutes which is unfair.
Got given an urgent care center appointment by 111 for a 3 months old baby. They were 45 minutes late. I enquired about an ETA at reception “You’ll be seen in time”, I had the “audacity” to ask “any rough idea?” and got served the defensive …
Reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Doctors and nurses are amazing thou! Do have to wait a while! I went on a Saturday and waited for nearly two hours. But the doctor as amazing, so it was worth it. Also it is a bit dirty, could use with a clean-up and some new paint. Toilet was disgusting.
Always had excellent service including my most recent visit which was yesterday. Reception staff were friendly and informed me that the waiting time was one and a half hour- don’t think it was that long in the end. The nurse who did the …
A big Thankyou to the staff. My daughter has Special Needs and doesn’t cope well in busy environments. Unfortunately she needed to attend today and we were afforded a great deal of compassion and understanding. As someone who once worked for the NHS, I understand the pressures. You were great and made it easier, for us BOTH!
What a brilliant x-ray department went in there this afternoon. The receptionist was brilliant put my mind at rest about my notes doctor gave me. The radiologist was very good and professional Thank you so much.
I would also ad the Urgent care centre is Brilliant
Very good.can wait for a while.but much quicker then going to the hospital.or doctors.
Cannot fault the quick treatment. In and out in just over a hour. Expected to be waiting longer. I do believe that that poliietness gets you further in life. Thankyou
I took my daughter to UCC in erith for minor illness. We have been waiting for about 2 hrs and 30 minutes. We haven’t even seen the doctor. So worst place of treatment.but very few patients sitting there.
If there was a 0 star I would give it 0! This is by far the worst hospital literally only good for convenience! Firstly although the reception staff seem nice the doctor’s and nurses are unprofessional I wonder how on earth they were ever …
Urgeant care excellent! been let down by my own GP so much, the nurses and doctors have been wonderful at Erith Hospital Urgeant care. Thank you, i know you all are taking on lots as GPs have all gone towards econsult or just say call 111
Met a most wonderful Dr who put my faith back into NHS. Thankyou to her and the other staff.
This A nd E service should be closed permanently till waiting time is fixed
Had to wait three hrs to be seen by a doctor with three year old child who’s crying constantly due to pain in her left ear .seems like all staff re go e deff as …
Rude staff and now you have to enter all the details on an ipad before you even sit down. A poor 88 year old woman was made to do this & it never told her to sit down as she couldn’t complete it!
I have called the urgent care for some enquiry, and the lady dealt with it so efficiently. Answered it well and asked if there was something more I would like to know. …
I have visited this urgent care centre quite a few times. the service is fantastic, the staff are great. we need more centres like this. best thing since sliced bread.
Waited 25 minutes on hold, then it rung for ages and they hung up on me: I know this because I’d briefly hear somebody pick up. This repeated several times, each as long as the last. Clearly, this practice has an ongoing issue with answering its telephones which is a shame as the people on the other end seem friendly enough.
Went to the UCC 19:00 Thursday 30th August with a large gash on the back of my head which obviously needed stiches……….couldn’t even get past the receptionist who told me to go to A&E, without anyone even looking at my wound. …
Absolutely awful service. Was told it was at full capacity before 8pm when it was empty!!!!!! Turning me and my 2year old child away from seeing a doctor or nurse. …
Great reception and treatment from the moment I arrived. Very thorough and attentive medical staff.
My partner Booked a blood test , we arrived and was seen straight away, literally in there 2 to 3 mins
Not happy at all. Partner turned up Saturday with extreme abdominal pain. Had this for five days. Was told after a poke and prod that it was probably nothing serious and sent away. Pain got worse ended up on Darent Valley hospital on Sunday. After tests that could have been done at Erith found out he had to have his appendix out.
Speedy blood clinic and a VERY busy urgent care centre. Good all round clinic with services from Dartford & Gravesham and Oxleas NHS trusts. The adjoined X-ray bunked is a massive asset as well to the services offered.
The reception staff was too rude. I went there for my four year old at 9pm but they don’t let me in though their closing time was 9.45pm. This is the second time this is happening. I would say it would have been fair to shut their doors 15 minutes earlier but an hour is unacceptable.
Went to Erith Urgent care centre at 7 o’clock Sunday only to be told I could not be seen supposed to be open till 10 o’clock
2nd time my 1 year old has been turned away as too busy. what do i pay taxes for, they have a security guard on the door turning away a 1 year old that is bleeding. disgraceful
Well I’ve been reading what people are saying. I found the service excellent fast and the staff were professionals. Much better than most A/Es
Well done to all staff.
In fact, a bombically cool hospital with excellent doctors
Love this place, they are so helpful and kind. They are always there for you, unlike the neighbouring gp surgery, where you have to wait two weeks to be seen.
Have only ever used for blood tests. But staff were quick and efficient. Drinks machine and book sale available. Toliets were clean
Urgent care center for patients that require non emergency procedures or medicines.
Amazing place, great staff, easy access like going back in time (X-ray dept in air raid bunker) but with up to date staff. A wonderful caring facility
Good for blood test and children emergency. A&E for children do take some time along as many run down people use it for fun!
called on Thursday 22.11, at 1530 for a phlebotomy appointment. The reply on the machine was: ” This line is now closed. The line is open from 8 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Thursday and from 8 AM to 2 PM on Friday”. It’s unprofessional and cynical too…
Bless them they’re doing their best very good service the social distance still on but no delay they do the best to serve everybody in time
Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee machine and book sale was valuable. Hospital was really clean.
I’ve been waiting a whole hour as there is “no space”. Even though people behind us are going inside.
Just waited 20 minutes on hold trying to book a blood test. Finally it started ringing and then I got cut off. Totally unsatisfactory.
Bad hospital never take baby’s in should be closed down they turned my baby down
This place is such a waste of time. Too many staff around on reception, etc. but hardly any doctors to see patients. Avoid as much as possible.
Don’t bother with the UCC. Dr I saw wasn’t interested in the slightest and just wanted to turf out as many people as quickly as possible.
This hospital is the worst for picking up there phone you right and no one picks up so you ring back and it’s engaged they also say they will ring you back and never do just a joke now
A big thank you!!
This little place is always welcoming and professional . Happy with the service so I thank you very much!
Adrian
They are rude staff they don’t understand that I got a learning disabilities

Always had excellent service when I’ve needed to go here. Very friendly staff and very helpful
