The council are very quick to impose a substantial levy when a property has been empty long term,even if the property is up for sale. But when a council tax rebate is due, the staff hide behind their ” procedures”. In other words, you can wait for what they owe you. They’ll refund you in their own good time.

Binmen repeatedly cant be arsed walking 5 steps from the alley into gordon street to collect recycling. Repeated, formal complaints change nothing. Terrible, shameful council have caused physical injury due to their neglect. Nothing is ever done. No stars.

The Staff is useless! Struggiling with tax payment during covid pandemic and there Was no help from Council!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped me immensely at a time of crisis and followed through every step of the way. The employees deserve an award for their hard and dedicated work.

I’ve called the council a number of times now to have my phone number ’emailed’ or given to the person who needs to contact me with no reply.

Council Tax

Needed to amend my council tax bill to single occupancy. Staff were very polite and helpful and call was answered quickly.
