Good luck trying to speak to anyone on the phone. I’ve been hung up on 3 times so far after being on hold for over 10 minutes. This happens every time. And if you’re lucky enough to get through to someone, then chances are their ‘systems are down’ and so they can’t help. Totally shambolic and highly infuriating.

The phone system is clearly not set up for customer service. Long waits. Unhelpful staff. Onus always on the customer to deal with the delays or system issues. “You can call back later when the system might be up”. “I can’t messages, you need to call back and see if the system is back up”. etc etc

Shocking council! I’ve no idea what they do with the money they receive! Take for example the money for resurfacing the roads, they resurfaced some but others are in such a state with massive pot holes! It’s embarrassing!

Shocking service, I spoke with a supposed “manager” called Darren Whittaker regarding a complaint in my area and he was extremely rude and dismissive! He obviously did not take my issue seriously or could be bothered with the hassle?
Sheffield city council is not good there was warned about snow coming and have not salted the roads so it has brought Sheffield to a stand still and do not care

Terrible customer service. Impossible to get in contact with them. I’m still waiting for an email response after 4 months and been trying for 4 months to speak to someone on the phone. That’s how bad is it.
less than one star , had an emergency situation , the guy on the switchboard said he didn’t know which department I would need so put me through to adult services who had me waiting for 20 mins before they said too busy to take call and ended it —- really not impressed at all

Incompetent people who are utterly unhelpful and blame their victims for their ineptitude. The only useful thing in the entire building is the toilet.

It is so frustrating dealing with the staff at Howden House you have to constantly tick their boxes or they won’t help you I’ve been down 3 times now each time ticking different boxes they are still not happy so I have to come again
