I have nothing but praise for SMBC, they’re polite and helpful when phoning or calling into the Hub about a repair (which has always been dealt with promptly) and feel privileged to live in our Solihull council bungalow so thanks SMBC

Every time I deal with SMBC the level of incompetence is unfathomable. I’ll start writing another complaint and expect I’ll wait months only to be told that SMBC accepts they could do better, but they never do.

Great neighbourhood, however, awful people at the council tax service. For a debt of £22 for council tax, I have to pay after a few weeks of missed notifications an amount 5x more, £113. A disgrace. Also they don’t have any useleful electronic/online services and their systems are obsolete.
