Absolutely impossible to get in touch… I have set up my council tax for direct debit, received a letter confirming so but when it came to it nothing was debited from my bank acc. They don’t answer email and I spent 1 hour going through damn robot trying to reach an actual person but it is either impossible or ridiculously hard.

Absolutely appalling! Cannot get through on the phone to speak to anyone! Recorded messages make you go round and round in circles and then when you speak to the operator they hang up on you on purpose – having to put one but deserve minus stars! 😡😡😡 …

Appalling service, they should all be sacked! I have written to them twice as cannot get through via the phone and they cant even be bothered to reply. Have written to Basingstoke as well. Well paid idiots.

This council is still hiding from the 03/20 coronovirus. Nearly 2 years on. They don’t answer any calls. When you do manage to get through them sidewards if you need to collect something they will make you stand in front of the window while they hide behind the wall. Guys just get a grip

Very difficult to speak to someone. When you do, is very frustrating and I haven’t got anywhere with them. I am still waiting for them to answer my emails. They even told me that my husband needed to contact them even if I told them he had recently passed away. Not acceptable.

I paid my money to get a brown bin and still not heard back. Money got taken really fast but no bin or reply to emails. Perhaps I should get my money back.

Wow!! Rarely in life will you encounter such incompetence. I’m specifically referring to the Council Tax department!!!
