Made the big mistake of attempting to speak to someone in the housing department.Apparently we are not allowed in the shiny new offices they have built for themselves,we can only phone.Tried phoning for 4 days,left messages,no reply.Sunderland council,you are a disgrace!If I could have given zero stars,I would have !

Speak down to you when you ring as though they’re better than you, with an exception of one or two staff members who speak to you like you have a purpose. Rubbish left lying all over Sunderland, local parks an absolute state, overgrown grass, sort it out, quick to take people’s money but leave the place a tip.

Please can you maintain the toilets at Park Lane interchange better. Disgusting, loo roll dispensers are being broken frequently on purpose.

Rubbish,they employ officers to prevent fires yet number 5 Morris Street do it every day not forgetting allotments on Morris Street who do what they want and council do nothing.Would we all not want money for nothing in these testing times.

Disgraceful putting a pay to park scheme in my street. Now I have to get a permit for my car, for builders when I need work on my house etc. The joys of having to pay 10 pound for a scratchcard parking permit for tradesmen to work. Contact them everyday to send me a letter of my dad’s registration to the Council and yet i haven’t received it and with this is already 3 months. I think no point having customer service if they can’t deal with their problems.

The Civic Centre looks like something from the 60’s & 70s…The car park is a disgrace that is overpriced and CLOSES at 6 pm leaving around 600 empty parking space going a begging.Any wonder why Sunderland closes down around 7 pm?

Speak as you find but everytime I have been in contact with them all has been ok even now with the pandemic they have been polite and helpful

Held on for over 16 minutes and in that time was transfered 3 times all to the wrong departments and my issue still is not resolved
