Have spent the afternoon trying to get some simple planning advice after queuing on a call advised to use portal which is too generic so another long call back to the same person who the only advice she could give was to use the portal. Waste of time.
I wish people leaving one star would back that up with a detailed reason why.

The council has a nice building, and pleasant employees. Phoning them is difficult though. I have just waited 15 mins on the phone for initially the switchboard to reply (they didn’t – too busy…), then the planning department. If they are so busy, then there should be more employees!
Have been trying to register on line re garden waste for nearly a month and a waste of time got nowhere,so fed up am thinking of not bothering, haven’t had a prob!em other years,tried to get in touch re e mail, that didn’t work either,phone?forget it am not wasting any more time hanging on so will see!!
