I visit rarely but picked up a few dresses as I’d got a Love to Shop voucher to spend. Nothing ,outstanding, just everyday items. There’s always something new here as stock turns over quickly. Couldn’t find a tankini or bikini bottoms in my size, must be lots going abroad as we all need some sun.

Talk about self serve. I’ve never known tills like them in any other shop. There was only one person available to serve you and only if you were paying cash. The queue earlier in the day was ridiculous so l left and went back again later in the day. I don’t like self serve and never will. It’s all about cutting jobs!

Great value, not waiting in queue long although was a big queue. Not got what I was looking for that was draw curtains that I wanted for my living room, only available online. Not best pleased but good for clothes and homeware.

My little girl left her new toy in this store and we didnt realise until after closing time. The next morning I called the store and the assistant must of spent ages searching for it because she found it in a place we had not been. My little girl is super happy, thank you for you help.

This is what retail looks like when you take out store managers. Absolute joke of a store. Plenty of staff standing around not doing much with just one person on checkouts! One queue for sales, returns and click and collect. Just absolute chaos in there.

Lots of stuff here some good some poor some priced reasonable some not. Not specialising in anything but favours clothing. Pop in ahve a look but don’t have too many expectations

I’ve been in to the store this evening and walked out again, it’s gone totally downhill. It actually smells like unwashed clothes in there and the stock is awful. It used to be such a lovely shopping experience.

Staff member in store at Merry Hill didn’t want to help me to find the correct size of trousers just turned around and said you will have to go onto the app to find correct size which I required

As always my visit to Matalan was very efficient in the way the lady assistant got my click and collect parcel for me.Very professional in the way even when this store is busy iam always served very quickly.

Always something to buy. As a regular customer i get discount vouchers via email. Always worth a visit and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.

Love this shop..always new stuff coming in..ideal for off the peg occasion suits at great prices..

Matalan wasn’t to busy, bought a few items self service quick and easy.

Had to come in for a top for my daughter a wonderful lady who worked there helped us and she was so polite shown me how to use self check out has not been in store since forever but she was amazing and the range of clothing is good. Will definitely go back again

Ordered some size 10 Vans from JD a while ago and I wasn’t home at the time. I was given an email to say they were being held in matalan yet when I went to collect them they were no where to be seen. Staff said they wasn’t there. No refund nor help for either matalan or JD as the response I got from JD is they should be at matalan

Personally I love Matalan for children’s clothing, they’re very reasonable prices and their offers and sales are better than everyone else’s in my opinion. Love shopping here.

Great store for cheaper clothing

Busy, but plenty of items on the sale section

Popped into Matalan today as we’ve just decorated our lounge so I wanted to get some new accessories. I came out with 4 lovely cushions that were very reasonable priced and a bin. The store looked good following a refurb and although it was busy I was served very quickly

Quality garments in good price

Affordable and helpful staff. Easy shopping and generally my first stop for affordable clothing. Could try and put a little more effort to ensure clothes sizes are actually on hanger or convenient place as it helps when finding your size easier and quicker.

Quality products good prices

Bought a suit from here today. Sasha, who was assisting customers by the front desk is a credit to the company. No request was too much, just really helpful and nice to see.

Love this place got five teeshirts for £3.50 each and look just as good as Next product costing £30.00 each. Product actually lasts very well.
I have several teeshirts that are a year old and still look good

A first class store.

Love this stand alone store as it is in Merry Hill which is always busy but it is always so relaxing to stroll through Matalan and take things at your own pace. Lovely staff too.

Lovely refurbished store at merry hill very helpful staff especially evi who helped sort out a lost parcel for me good quality clothing at a very good price I would certainly recommend that you visit this store.

Called store today pre recorded message said, due to high volume of call they have decided to shorten the call centre operating time, how does it make sense to do that surely you would increase hours not reduce

Hardly accessible with a double pushchair, racks and tables in middle of Isles. Shop staff on floor quite rude but behind the till friendly.

Quick in and out emergency shop for me – much prefer to other discount clothing stores. Quality isn’t all that but then neither is the price.

Only popped in for nephews jeans. Didn’t have size and the queue for the tills were long. I don’t expect it to be busy all the time but on this occasion just busy.

The customer service in this store is terrible. Especially by the “manager” I think her name was Claire.

Large store, newly refurbished. Great homeware department. Always have to wait in a long queue at the tills though.
