Is there an oncology dept at Women's
There is a gynaecology oncology team. Gynaecology oncology clinical nurse specialists (Macmillan team) and a Gynaecology unit which cares for patients who require Gynaecology Oncology inpatient care. There is a Gynaecology outpatients department which has clinics including rapid access and diagnostics.
There is also a 24hr emergency department who assess general Gynaecology/Gynaecology Oncology and early pregnancy emergencies who link with all departments.

Basically a lot of deliveries. It varies. And consultants depends on departments and staff as they have had shortages in staff

You will usually be on a ward with other mums, although there are some single rooms

I would get a bus, its all up hill and would take about 30 minutes to walk. From memory the 86 stops next to the hospital and can be taken from Renshaw Street.
