Twice in 2 days my wife was approved for finance then mysteriously the finance was cancelled with no explanation

Never had a loan with these but some how they set up direct debit with my bank so they can do one
They're on my credit file, and I genuinely don't know how, or why. They said they had payments for months, then I stopped, but upon checking no payments have ever gone out to them. I suspect they're dodgy.
