Ordered an item for Christmas on 12th Dec (4 days shipping) and when I checked online on 19th Dec was told that shipment wasn’t scheduled till after Christmas. I cancelled the order and the cancellation was confirmed via chat. I then ordered a replacement from another supplier. On 20th I had an email from UO not confirming cancellation but confirming shipment and charges applied. This caused me a lot of admin returning the alternative item. UO seemed un caring about the problems they had caused by their poor customer communications. No compensation was offered.
