Like every council these days, make cuts to the services in the area but yet council tax goes up. An absolute joke, charging service area charge to people where I live, for what? Badly cut grass, rarely emptied bins, the list goes on and on. Bedford Council need to give more to the people of the area and not focus on taking from them.

Any individual that is unfortunate enough to have dealing with Bedford child services BEWARE. This is an organisation that will make up lies to get what they want. I strongly advise any indivaul who is dealing with these predators to record everything don’t let them tell you your not allowed YOU ARE. RECORD EVERYTHING.

Customer service is horrible!! I’ve called 5 times this morning. Every time I am being connected someone answers and puts the phone down. Between all the calls I have been on hold for over an hour now.

Neighbours dump their waste in our flat block bins and nothing of any substance is being done about it. this council loves flagship vanity projects far too much, could save some money by letting some parts of parks revert to nature for instance

Ashame to see things aren’t running as smoothly as a few years ago… lots of shops are going down around bedford and theres definetly been a large increase in amount of homeless people on the streets. I see on average 4 people every time i come here. I hope this can soon be resolved

Bedford highways department are a complete shower of incompetents. A prime example being the ongoing assault course at the junction of Clapham Road & Manton Lane, Bedford. Senior leadership should be dismissed for gross misconduct.

Chief Executive Philip Simpkins is an absolute tool. I actually witnessed the incident another reviewer wrote about at Lloyds Bank and stumbled across it looking for information on council tax. He was an absolute child in the way that he behaved and should be sacked immediately. WHAT A BULLY

BBC have recently begun to use Churchill services as their cleaning contractors. Churchill fail to pay their staff on time and refuse to pay staff annual leave money. I hope BBC reconsider using this company as their contractor…. Churchill are a disgrace.

Disgraceful outfit but hey accountable to nobody so they can be as incompetent and inept as they want to be as there is no external arbitration or robust complaints process that can bring them to task.

Unfortunately cannot give no stars. They take absolutely no notice of local opinions and concerns and have no regard for areas beyond the old Borough Council boundary.

Hi there, the new bin collection is simply not working for large households.

Absolutely ridiculous organisation. The staff on the telephone can’t tell you anything and tell you to just come into the offices. I don’t drive, live in a village and have a tiny baby. I’m disgusted.
