This council have handled their finances really well despite losing central government funding, services have not declined and they continue to provide great value for money. Thank You BDC.

Absolutely rubbish. Was told that my council tax direct debit had been cancelled as I didn’t need it anymore, yet they attempted to take nearly £100 out of my account today. I had to cancel my direct debit manually to stop them. Often times very rude on the phone. The website is just shockingly bad

New website is absolutely awful!!! Not interactive is basically a directory listing page. links don’t load. tried to find out the bin collection. but the new layout offers no advice or details of roads and which bin is collected. Pure rubbish.

What a rigmarole just to speak to someone on the phone. Several pointless (at least to 99.9% of the community) automated messages, then a long wait time. The website looks like a child’s game. For goodness sake why does a council website need to look so complicated – I thought money was short! PRIORITIES!!!!

Very unhelpful council. Do not sort out issues with neighbour. Neighbour constantly burning rubbish (3-5 times a week ) for the last 4 years. So far nothing has been done to stop it.

Went to put forms in 1 partition open for enquiries not good enough when there are numerous people waiting.

Spoke to a lady called Carol who couldn’t of been any more helpful. Put me in touch with the correct department I needed. Excellent customer service.

Rubbish for as long as I I lived in this area I have had trouble with this council loosening paperwork assessing claims wrong I have faced eviction because of lost paperwork and no help what so ever , paid council tax full amounts and yet still no help when it is needed
