Absolutely disgusting. Important calls left on hold for more than half an hour and then cut off. Simply trying to find out where a CCJ has come from in order to clear it immediately and I can’t do it, all the time with it affecting my credit rating. So many stories on here saying the same thing. It’s totally unacceptable.
I am currently waiting YET AGAIN on the phone to try and get through to this dreadful place – I have been trying every week day for the last 2 months with no joy!!! …
A CCJ has appeared on my credit file, 3 letters missing off my name and in an address I left over 5 years ago. I know nothing about it what so ever. Tried calling and hung up after an hour on hold. All I want to know is what the debt was for!!!!!!
they claim they sent a letter on the 24th of Feb which only arrived on the 6th March, giving you a day to respond. A call, resulted in an hour on hold then proceeded to be cut off. Its absolutely disgusting how there is not a regulatory body that monitors such incompetence.
Shocking place wants closing down no online system no staff reduced service. You can’t get through you have to manually print forms they can take over 10 weeks to respond. They are worse than a bunch of illegal wheel clampers an absolute disgrace going to pay them a personal visit.

I spoke to a very helpful person called Paula. The wait to connect was only 5 minutes (don’t call between 12 and 2 – very busy). I think we need to give the call handlers a break. CCBC is clearly massively under-staffed, so it’s the wretched Home Office that deserves the flak, not the CCBC staff
