Rare experience with council. Today I had to contact the HBC and first time I spoke to this gentle person called Jonathan/John who really seems to be caring and understanding the problem fully. He definitely wanted to resolve the issue and answer all my questions. God Bless Him and everyone that’s committed to their role like him!
Commit fraud with the toll bridge. When motorway is closed you have no choice to go across the toll with no indication you are in it or pay station and it as a time limit of 24 hours which isn’t clearly displayed it’s behind another sign. Tried to ring 6 times to inform council tax department change of adress. Always at least 15th in queue. One occasion i was “next” in queue i was on hold for 50 minutes before i hung up. Terrible service from a terrible council

The bridges in this borough are used to penalise motorists. a short window is permitted to pay followed by unreasonable penalties. Don’t use them 🙂
Awful!! They are threatening my daughter who is 18 years old who has learning issues with a fine because she has no NINO so cannot vote. Takes forever to get through been SEVENTH in the stupid queue for the past hour. The answerphone is also completely annoying. Waste of time the lot.
That Mersey Flow thing is a disgusting money collection unit. Poor northerners have no better way to earn. In London you get a warning first time. I have to pay a fine twice for crossing the bridge to go to Tesco. I was first time in the area.
Refused COVID payments due to owning my own house. So couldn’t provide them with mortgage payments.
