The university is full of profs or research fellows who shall welcome you to …
Great place. I love it. I wish I had the possibility to study there when I was young!
Very disappointed to read that UWE are still using rats for experiment purposes. In this day and age it’s really not necessary and this has been researched and proven.
Nursing staff, care staff and Doctors are excellent. It’s just a shame the Government doesn’t appreciate them and the service they offer dnough. Give ’em a payrise and invest in the NHS.
I had a lovely evening at Bristol University the last evening of term TB1. My taxi arrived early to begin the festivities, the teaching and learning as usual was mesmerising and the connecting taxi there awaiting my return.
My first experience of chemotherapy and it couldn’t have been better. It was a long day but well organised. Very pleasant surroundings and my personal nurse Chloe was excellent.
Been to Bristol many times before, but this visit is unique. In Bristol Heart hospital recovering from open heart surgery. Wonderful hospital, care is top notch. From cleaners to surgeons everyone is so helpful and supportive. I’ve …
Always an honour to enter the door of this amazing building…the Alma Mater of so many outstanding scientists, researchers and engineers…a lovely experience today while attending a well done graduation ceremony! Congratulations and success to all graduates!
The University of Bristol is an inclusive and wonderful environment for teaching, social life, religious life and everything. It is enriched with culture and it is a wonderful experience and place to be.
Crazy / young / town full of energy
I was lucky enough to attend a meeting of Woman’s Place UK, held jointly with Women with Women, in the spectacular Wills Hall.
Wonderful speakers included Milli Hill and the awesome Raquel Rosario Sanchez. …
I believe the UoB education service is an obvious example of misselling! I paid a lot for a one-year program and it was meant to be an in-person program. However, more than half of our courses were held online. There was no opportunity for …
Open day 17 June 2022… eventually found the places we needed to be. Very helpful students and staff. Thanks for their help👍🏻
All conveniently central – public shops & amenities appear to be also. …
Bristol University is a wonderful City to have a University, I am so proud of my Son who graduated in his Masters this afternoon and my other Son was on stage as he is a Member of Staff and a Post Doctor. …
A vibrant a cosmopolitan University city. The engineering facilities at Clifton Campus are spectacular, and the buildings and grounds are beautiful.
I personally studied here for 6 months. Surrounded by beautiful people, beautiful city. ITS THE BEST
Excellent university with fantastic undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, teachers, staff and students! The best university in the South West of England.
Petrifying management and illusory reputation.
During covid, due to the overflowing accepted applicants, the admissions failed …
I wish happiness to all students and staff of the University of Bristol. I dream of studying at your university. Respect.
Well organised, with some attractive stuff for children.
I only walked past BU….to Pret, where seemingly, most BU students were hogging all available seating while on their laptops. Can they not study on campus and let the general public have a seat!?
Everyone from doctors nurses porters and cleaners were so friendly and did their jobs efficiently with a smile. Doctors were very thorough investigating my problem. I even enjoy being in hospital. Thank you all for your wonderful self- sacrificing work in these very difficult times. Excellent
One of the best Universities in the UK.
I found they were brilliant especially the a e department and stroke ward really looked after me back home now thanks to all the staff. Thank you. X
A good shout out to our nhs for doing a good job, hannah and her Male side kick in a&e were fab! And all the other staff working in those conditions being short staffed
I did a PhD here once, completely useless waste of time. You need to inform PhD students that their degree may well be useless instead of prioritising your research grade. Sid Bowes a gonner yet?
Treatment and care during the day was brilliant. Lovely staff, clean building and facilities, even the food wasn’t too bad. What gets the two stars is complete lack of communication. At 7pm I was informed I would be going home “soon” but …
This is a great university I absolutely love it so much, I hope to be going here after 3 years.
Every time I go past this university I will always admire it and hope that one day I will make it and be there
How can you review a university in a pithy way? Bristol is a city university rather than campus based, and is part of the Russell Group (one down from Oxbridge). It’s a great city to be a student in but it depends on what you want to study, so go do some homework! It’s a Russell group university.
Just had a pacemaker fitted at this hospital. Very efficient and pleasant staff. They are very particular where hygiene and covid restrictions are concerned.
I’ve never been here, never been to UK at all, but I’ve always wanted to go here. Maybe because I used to tell my friends that my great great grandfather is from Bristol as a joke. I could’ve said London or Manchester, but I didn’t. I really hope I can come here some time.
One of the top universities in Britain and the world
Iconic building of Bristol just up of the Park Street. You should walk around
This the hospital where I work, team work is great , communication is great. And everybody really tries their best to save lives 😊 …
Had a wander around the Royal Fort Gardens
My first time there. Much larger than I thought it would, with a mixture of lawns and shrubbery. Well laid out and not too busy, so easy to obey the social distancing signs. Will definitely be back.
Spent a large number of days there on a Vet Program. Amazing buildings and clean streets. The staff members were helpful and kind. The food from the chef was delicious! Always looking forward to visit it again!
It seems a bit facile to make a university choice based on a google review but if you must know I did a medical degree and doctorate here and liked it well enough. …
Was there for not long time but experience was alright
Great stay in BRI. All staff were attentive, informative, friendly and welcoming. I was only in for a Day Case procedure but everyone made it very easy to cope with. THANKYOU ALL
Very good at the academic stuff but there’s work to be done on the whole student experience. Students’ Union is very weak and practically invisible. All the campus cafés are quite expensive because it’s in a posh part of town. Teaching …
Good grief who would want an education from a school that recognizes humans identifying as “cat gender”? This ridiculous public education facility needs to be shut down.
amazing hospital. very good and friendly staff .and the childrens hospital next door..was in the BRI after suffering massive asthma attack .I was treated by some of the best medical staff in the country. I cannot praise them enough. these people save people’s lives. amazing
Top university in UK with huge presence in the world due to its reputation and academic excellence. Went there for an applicant day, really loved it. Among the top 5 in UK. Glad I did. Can’t wait to school there. Top top top class

Visited the Respiratory clinic. Very friendly, efficient, and informative.
Horrible. They will deliberately bully you if you speak with an accent. They despised me because I come from a working class background, and I was bullied out of my job over my Bristolian accent. NOT INCLUSIVE.
Friendly staff, clean and tidy, seen bang on time.
I had a triple bypass surgery everyone there was fantastic surgeon are some of the best in the world Nurses are brilliant and now I am home and well thank you
Had Covid vaccine here today. Brilliant!! Great organisation, and great staff! So grateful for everybody’s hard work and dedication. You are all heroes!
I’m not a student or faculty of this university. As an outsider I love the architecture of the buildings and scenic hilly location of it.
Impressed by the campus parks and different carriers buildings. Is like going back in time
The UHBW Edication &Research Centre houses the Covid-19 vaccination centre, by appointment, access through inter phone, the stairs or lift, 5 floor, very straight forward, following information from staff, in & out in 25 mins
I enjoy studying at the school of chemistry, the facilities for research and the opportunities for personal and professional development have helped me to grow and improve myself.
Can not fault the hard work and care all the staff do. From the nurses to all the volunteers. Parking is the biggest problem 🙄 …
Overall student experience is bad
Great University! Very Challenging
My one year studying in the University of Bristol was an awesome one. I really enjoyed my time here. I learned so many new ideas and gained a lot of new …
Great swimming pool. Well organised and a good size. Great swimming teachers
Amazing staff who truly went above and beyond!!!! I am very grateful for our NHS and all its people 😊 …
It’s a hospital, wonderful place that look after sick people, although they need to work on there communication skills,
a renowned and always high ranking university across the globe.
I have studied MSc in Bristol. I think it’s academic excellence and lively environment will attract any students from home and abroad.
I’ve studied in Russia in uni, and I can see the difference! 😂😂😂 (the blind can’t actually🤔)
I’ve studied here already for 2 years. I love my uni. Here “meritocracy” is not …
Haven’t been in but I would definitely change uni for this place. Looks very nice campus is awesome.
Horrible place, really bad structure couldn’t find anything surprising anyone can learn here. Student Union was pretty much non existent. However lecturers were lovely and helpful.
Appointment cancelled, we had driven all way in and paid parking etc, they do need to phone to advise cancellation esp with covid etc, extra person in heart institute
Had a great experience in Bristol! Learnt a lot at the university and the accomodation was brilliant 🙂
Nurses and all staff are great,
As a cardiology unit and covid19 they go above and beyond, nothing but praise for all of them.
Did a environmental managment masters here as a mature student. Loved the taught elements and field trips were very good. The variety of industry guest lecturers was impressive and really could not have been any better. Where things became …
Eye opening my visit today was for cataracts treatment done dusted in under a hour thankyou BEH
Staff were quite good and they really showed that they cared about you- great facilites over all and i think that the students are really friendly- so it is a really nice place to study.
Just dropped our daughter off to start her degree. Its a fab, vibrant University with extremely helpful staff & students
Did some training there. Very experienced tutors and a formative experience.
Great University beautiful and wonderful
Nice place, sunny unlike London, toilets a bit grim tho
Visited for Open Day. Well organised came by train and used free bus to campus. Beautiful buildings
Generally good place to work
A wonderful place I hope to be one of the students after 4 years
Bristol childrens hospital.. have been here on multiple Occasions over the last 6years.. they have always been outstanding with their care and support
It was cold and wet when I got there and it remained the same.
Staff and others have it two extra stars.
