So far my learners insurance with yourselves has been great. Very straightforward and I enjoy the app itself also. One thing I would say it didn’t make it very clear when I was signing up for the insurance that I would be having a black box. Other than that all had been smooth and perfect.

Always a good experience and over the years I have found the policy’s to be good value. Always worth checking renewal price against their own different offering though. Sometimes very difficult to get to speak to a real person but that seems to be the insurance industry in general.

There is too strong a push towards using the app. For a single annual transaction this is inappropriate. There is also no print option from the app making it difficult to get hard copies of the docs without requesting them to be posted.

Setting up the policy was easy, however i did take up a cheaper option than the renewal of my previous policy, only to then receive an email saying I had a balance outstanding to renew my previous policy and there being nowhere on the app or via email to be able to cancel it. Instead I’ve opted to just let it expire without payment.
Overall the setup of the app is easy! However when I set up my black box after 2 drives it unlinked itself and if I hadn’t noticed this I could have gotten my insurance cancelled for sharing no data!

Have used hastings a lot over the years and have always found everything straight forward. They offer some of the best cover around for a great price. The cheapest is never the best. The additional cover add ons are great too for complete peace of mind.

Best price for adequate cover. Easily purchased online. Of course the proof is in the pudding in the event of a claim but hopefully I won’t have to use that element of their service.
I didn’t relly like the fact that my policy details are all online,I have always had paper documents and I keep them in my car’s glovebox where I can get to it quick and easily,however I have them on the app and just hope that if I need them will have my phone with me which I do sometimes forget to bring with me.
