Write a ReviewAn extremely well managed and well organised hospital that is conveniently situated in one corner of the town. There’s smoke free parking. The staffs are very helpful and facilities are excellent.
Quick visit today. Although a 1hour and 15min wait. We did just get into xray. All done in under 2 hours.
Receptionist was really loverly she tended to all the elderly patients who got …
Just witnessed some shocking behaviour of the front desk worker. She was very high rate towards a ambulance worker. I think she needs re-training or to be given the boot. How rude of her, she is in no position to be like this. Disgusted
Didn’t know this hospital existed until somebody told me,
On arrival my daughter parked in the Hospital car park, free of charge.
Our wait was Less than one hour, the staff were polite and helpful, the doctor …
Fast efficient service for diagnosis of broken bone. Parking very convenient close to treatment rooms.
2 visits to Small Injuries unit. Waiting times were 5m and 90 minutes. Can’t complain. Both nurses were caring, knowledgeable and professional and a credit to the NHS. So close too!
Great place and very friendly, could not wish for a better treatment, parking easy and free, highly recommend.
We looked up ‘walk in centre’ (a Sunday) for my father in law who had three very swollen and painful fingers and Townlands came up. We were met with a straight talking receptionist who asked what injury he had and when we said we couldn’t …
Amazing facility. 1.5hr waiting time. Super modern and efficient. Very kind, knowledgeable nurses. Had x-ray on site. Recommend.
Big thank you to nurse Kathy, Trish and the reception lady’s and Martin, the X-ray radiologist and the lady at the X-ray desk. You all were amazing and made me feel welcome. Nurse Kathy, you were amazing and made me feel at ease. I left feeling so much better, even my foot felt a bit better ☺️ #feelingthefeel
Townlands is a GREAT facility. Used the minor injuries unit this morning. Booked appointment via 111 and was seen within 30 minutes. Had 4 stitches in cut in hand. Initially went to A&E and told I would have a 5 hour wait. The nurse …
Walked in with the most painful trapped nerve (so technically not a minor injury) but was seen nevertheless. Angie my Nurse was the most kindest and sympathetic Nurse you dream of seeing and the Dr was amazing too. Straight to the point and …
Very rude receptionist. Absolutely disgusting attitude. I would not go there ever again. Shame on the employer.
Had a biopsy in the Dermatology department yesterday and I can’t believe what a pleasant experience it was. Professional and such friendly service. Thank you very much
Having got serious cuts from gardening and had nerve pain I had to go to the MIU. Have to say amazing care at it’s best! Seen within 15mins following a NHS 111 referral. Tetanus jab given and cuts treated with excellent after care advice given to. Helpful and happy receptionist to. Thank you all.
I was referred to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service at Townlands by my GP. I received fantastic service, all the staff were very helpful especially the physiotherapists. Only slight negative is that parking can be a bit hit and miss …
We have just been there because of a trapped nerve in the groin causing excruciating pain (according to a man!)..like a previous reviewer of the hospital did before us getting a 5star review. …
Good public facilities, a dedicated baby feeding room and a separate baby changing room. Lovely clean facilities, as you’d expect in a hospital but not that is always found. …
Took my eldest son into Minor Injuries after gashing his leg at school. Lovely hospital, not busy, free parking (sanity at last in the lunatic world of having to pay to park to go to Hospital) and not too long to wait. Great care – many thanks!
5* service with lovely, friendly, helpful, efficient, professional staff! Shame some patients still don’t know, after 2yrs, that masks offer best protection for others, when worn covering nose and mouth 🤔 …

Excellent care in an emergency for my young son. Seen within minutes of arrival and very kind staff, the doctor was brilliant with him.
Was given an examination and x-Ray after a heavy fall causing severe arm and shoulder pain. Very efficient, sympathetic staff, no fuss. Excellent.
What an amazing facility. I had a badly swollen knee from a tumble on a cattle grid. Ice pack. Painkillers. Good advice. That’s all I needed and it kept me out of A&E. I can’t fault the care I received and I would have been happy to pay for it.
Poor service, unfriendly, bordering on racist. “got told i didn’t have the god given right to be well”- appauled by the lack of professionalism and compassion. would rather wait 10 hours anywhere else to receive humane treatment. Good luck if you are heading there.
Used the minor injuries clinic yesterday after falling and smashing my head against a brick wall (the wall won). Seen and sorted professionally and politely and home in about an hour from the accident !
Excellent receptionist and nurses, I thank you all for looking after me so well.
I was extremely impressed with the professional treatment I got on New Year’s eve when I gashed my leg very badly. Couldn’t not have been treated better anywhere.
New hospital Same old NHS. .Old woman receptionist needs to learn some manners..I waited 1,1/2 hrs because the grumpy old receptionist put me in the wrong waiting area..And the consultant had to move his car from Waitrose car park because there was no parking at the hospital…what a Joke. .
The ladies there were amazing, can’t thank them enough:)
Fantastic service all round; everyone is friendly and helpful, it is clean, short waiting times, easy to contact. Couldn’t ask for more from a hospital.
Living in Henley I’ve used Townlands a few times for minor injuries, blood tests, etc. and the staff have always been fantastic. …
Very easy appointment and treatment, no hassle parking as you can only park with an appointment and it’s all computerised, staff great too
I’m a bit baffled at the amount spent on this building when the minor injuries is only open 9-4???? So please don’t have an injury outside these times lol twice in the last week we’ve needed this ‘out of hours.
Fantastic service and fantastic hospital. I went to the minor injury hospital this afternoon with a burn injury and the staff couldn’t be anymore helpful. Thank you.
Sent me away at the door telling me I couldn’t see anyone when I had injured myself. Awful service.
Amazing best iv been too, no wait at all doctors have genuine want to help you ❤️
The facilities and all staff members were very professional and friendly – and there was barely any waiting time.
