The A&E staff were very attentive. Although it was unexpected I was able to get the necessary treatment and surgery within the same day with no fuss. I also had to unexpectedly stay in for the night but the staff made sure i was comfortable with all the necessities to make my overnight stay comfortable.
My daughter, who unfortunately was badly let down by her GP not taking her symptoms seriously enough, ended up in A and E with a severe kidney infection. The staff were incredible! She was seen and admitted quickly, given appropriate …

AMAZING FOOD!! We loved the hospitality and the customer service here. Special thanks to the chef who took such a great care of our food tastes and were very welcoming. The Veg Biryani was the best we had in UK till date. Such authentic flavors. Not to miss the restaurant when you are at the beach again.

My experience at this hospital was perfect. My dad has a shoulder operation here, and they deserve more than five stars. I have no words to thank enough Priestley Ward, Consultant Surgeon TOBY BARING, Dr MORITZ LEBE, anaesthetist doctor, …
The only reason why I haven’t given one star is because the antenatal care before the birth of my son was by a lovely and attentive nurse. I think her name is Nicola Brown, absolutely beautiful soul. …
Worst hospital ever, my sister and mum went there to support my father which is almost 80yrs old. The receptionist at the main outpatient’s department gang up together and making false accusations to ban there pts therefore I had to request …
I’m on holidays in London, I was feeling sick and I decided to call NHS, who told me to come to this hospital. I was so surprised… The staff is nice and I only waited 10 minutes (this is a not-going-to-happen thing in the public health …
Have never had a bad experience at Homerton University Hospital so far. For context, I have mostly only been here for doctor-referred specialist appointments (i.e. Radiology) so can’t comment on their A&E or long term care. …
Both my children were born in this hospital and I have had to take them to be seen a couple of times over the past two and half years. The care we have received has been outstanding. The HCAs, Nurses and Doctors have all been great every time! Really appreciate the hard work you all do!
The organisation in a&e was atrocious. We were waiting for over 6 hours and when told the amount of people in front of the queue, this would change according to the staff member asked. The answer we received was that they “don’t know what’s …
I had an operation here and they didn’t finish it because it wasn’t his field. Yes, when I went to the consultation I talked to the doctor about the problem, a scan was done and the specialist I needed should be in the operating room. When …

Thank you for all your hard work. We had to wait 6h at A&E but everyone can sit, there are many plugs. Doctors, nurses and admin personal are doing their best.

As a patient staying at this hospital, you will be faced with a complete disregard by the nurses as far as pain relief is concerned. You have to chase them up again and again, even if you have a clear, doctor prescribed pain management plan. Ask for your pain killers at least 40 minutes before they are due!
Very hard working staff…. but the hygiene standards are 3rd world
(Old blood & stains on beds)
Went here with breathlessness and chest pain that I was quite worried about, after being off work with a viral infection for a few weeks. I was given various diagnostic tests, was never made to feel like a nuisance and was given time to ask …
Super rude doctors. Amazing nurses, one of the best I’ve ever met and the 5 stars are for them. Doctors max 2 stars. Lady which was doing ultrasound extremly rude.
Shirley from the main outpatients department reception was great. She was able to assist me with all my queries. Really friendly.
Hi everyone,

Never felt so uncomfortable in my life, I ended up walking out crying. The receptionists are rude and dismissive. As I walked in I heard a sigh, they make you feel as if you’re a burden. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all!

Staff are so friendly here, they clearly have a very good working culture and are doing their best to make the maternity service as good as possible. Really great work that’s not going unnoticed.

I’m in the waiting room at Outpatients. I’ll update later. I just noticed the Mondriaan windows. ❤️
Emergency department consists on very rough people including medical staff, I wait there 8 hours with my clavicle bone fracture very painfully! After I got letter for further appointment with wrong name and address! That look like animal hospital not for humans! Shame
This hospital deserves 100/10, we had a wonderful experience. I gave birth to my first child here, my husband was close to me all the time. All midwifes had a beautiful and great attitude of care of me. Birth was easily and well, I gave …

Today my girlfriend gave birth to our first child and I was present all the time in which I was more than satisfied to see the professionalism and humanity shown by all the staff starting from doctors to nurses. I’m sorry that because of …
Went to the minor injuries ward to check on a sports injury. The ward was quite busy, but I felt the process was optimized as best as possible. Had my results and treatment within a few hours (without a prior appointment). Friendly people from the nurses to the student doctor to the x-ray technician.
This has to be one of the worst hospitals I’ve ever been too the level of care was shockingly bad I was admitted for several days after a motorcycle accident. sometime I was not given food and was told that “ your young you’ll survive” …
Shocking scenes at the kids A&E. The nurses triaging patients are either poorly trained or straight out racist/practising unconscious bias. I do think it is a mixture of both to be honest. For my son to come with one side of his throat …
Excellent service received from the Endoscopy Day Stay Unit nurse Ginika, she was caring, compassionate and so very kind. My first time having any kind of procedure and I was really anxious, she picked up on it and had me at ease and …

Good experience – fairly quick through a&e early Jan for ankle x-xray. Referred for follow up and physio soon after
They seriously need new reception staff . Call in about an appointment the woman on the phone sounds in a rush to get of and passing me to the wrong department Kmt maybe if she took the time to listen to what I was asking her that wouldn’t be happening.
They’re amazing staff working in less than perfect conditons, both of my children were born here and I’ll always be greatful for this amazing hospital.

After a long wait at A&E I was taken care of by Ruth the nurse practitioner. Excellent service and care delivered by herself and she made the process very easy and enjoyable. …
There was a vibrancy about the place amongst staff in outpatients.
I was only there for Dermatology but the atmosphere gave me great confidence.

I have had a very positive experience of Homerton Hospital, with Nurse Lisa Allen and Alison on the switch board. They have both been helpful when I was trying to find a close family member who had been admitted. They took they were kind and understanding and took the time to locate my relative.

Discouraged,,, 4 hours wait its exhausting, had nervous break down, but survived after 4 hours, finally seen by doc. Homerton management have to do something about it,they need massive improvements!!!
Was in yesterday for an endoscopy. Voiced to them very clearly that I was freaking out about doing it awake as in my country they give you a strong sedation (NOT GENERAL ANESTHESIA) that leaves you asleep and you don’t feel or remember …

The customer service of the Nurses at Starlight was terrible. They didn’t check on my nephew often. Starlight children wing was not clean. The doctor acted as though she didn’t want to be there.
My experience was positive, was a very busy day at the hospital I was seen within 2hours. Doctor was very professional and really helped me with the issue I was having.
