The bigger size there is is a 14-16. Not having bigger sizes in 2023 is unacceptable. And the girls working at the Manchester Arndale shop are just awful, felt judged as soon as I walked to try and see if the bigger sizes would fit me.

I went to house of cb to buy my prom dress. All the staff were so helpful with sizes and different colours. Jess helped to zip up my dress and made me feel confident with every dress I tried on. Lovely staff.

Visit the Manchester store yesterday and I honestly cannot thank Amy and Siaana enough, they helped me chose the perfect dress and we’re very patient with me. The staff were very unprofessional, calling their customers “chick” and “babe”. The shoes they offer to try dresses on are clearly for communal use, suggesting that they are not sanitised or cleaned. The size range is absolutely horrendous, as a size medium I didn’t it large. Was a waste of an hour and a half, honestly.

I would say avoid, avoid, avoid! Their dresses are all dirty and damaged, I bought one dress and its zipper was broken and had marks on the back. I changed a new one to the store, still dirty! The staff is super impatient and told me I could not change a new one cause that is the last one ( they even didn’t check the inventory).

Really ignorant staff and security members, gave me dirty looks as soon as I walked into the shop and made me uncomfortable as they were giggling when I left. Went in with the intention of spending money, have told many of my uni friends to not even bother going in and to spread the word.
