Cosy feel with interesting decor. Good choice of draught beers. Friendly and engaging staff. I had the lamb Roast and Beef Wellington and would order either again. Fish and chips were quite heavy and over-fried, however. Still, a great spot for a pint or quality pub food!

The waitress was polite and took care of the guests. He even proposed to us to organize an additional table for us on the terrace by bringing one from the inside. He deserves it all. Food was good.

We had a Sunday roast at The Hunter, the food was nice, and we loved the decor! However the vegetables were boiled instead of roasted, and veggie gravy wasn’t very tasty. Other than that we loved everything, and we will be back to try the other dishes!

Stopped here to try the beef wellington and we we not disappointed! The beef was so cooked to perfection – it was tender and delicious! We absolutely loved it. I’m also a huge fan of sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and Hunter S came through there as well. Great pub food, 5/5, would recommend!

I didn’t actually go in, we had some car issue and stopped outside the pub. The security guy, Zimba, came to check if we’re OK. Really lovely, supportive security. Working in customer service myself, I know how hard it is to come by good security that makes people feel welcome and safe. Definite diamond, this business is lucky.
