It could do with having an upgrade on machines, a general overhaul and made bigger. It’s stayed the same for the last 25 years. Other than that it’s ok.
Now it’s upgraded it’s very good, although the studios should be at least twice the size they are for the amount of people attending.

There are too many cardio machines in the gym and not enough free weights. Even at peak times, around 30%-50% of the cardio machines are unoccupied, whereas there are queues for the weight equipment, especially the barbells, squat racks, …

Gym has been refurbished and is miles better as well as facilities. Some staff are a little rude and judgy but can’t say that for all of them just some of the younger ones at reception.

Lovely leisure centre with lovely staff on reception and poolside and a very clean building.

Great gym,lovely swimming pool,and loads more other activities for all ages.good value for money and the staff are so friendly.well worth checking out.

Recently renovated and very impressed with the facilities. Friendly staff and great swimming teachers for all ages. Pool is a bit colder than others I’ve experienced previously but can’t blame them with the cost of energy at the moment..

I only use the pool but whole place was refurbished a few years ago so much better than the old days. Ongoing maintenance seams to be an issue though with ares needing TLC like ceiling tiles and panels. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, clean, all works and never super busy

I used the gym, quite busy with various age groups, which is nice to see. Centre itself was heaving – swimming lessons clearly resumed! Positive use is pleasing.

Friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are excellent, particularly the swimming pool.

Sat on hold over the phone for 15 minutes. Decided to drive down to find 3 people sitting on reception doing nothing. Asked to use the pool and told we couldn’t because a class was on. Had a quick look at the pool and it had 1 single person in it.

REALLY disappointed you can’t get a gym only membership here anymore – it’s swim only or full membership, which means its out of my price range for a local gym membership and gym-only memberships before the refurbishment were almost half …

Popped along to see the refurbished Leisure centre and was bowled over with the facilities and standard of the place. Even catered for the disabled people which I thought was brilliant and very inclusive. Manager & staff top notch. 🤩🤩🤩 …

I never saw the centre pre-refurbishment, all I can say is its a diamond of a place. The staff made me feel very comfortable and were extremely helpful. Really enjoying my time there.

Lanes a bit narrow. Would prefer fewer lanes but wider.

Good gym, could do with more choices of machines e.g abs crunch machine.. instead of 300 treadmills

Good pool with friendly staff, gets a bit busy at times.

They can’t keep the thermal suit going, the saunas not hot enough and the steam room is a slimly room that’s no where near the temperature a STEAM room should be

Great pool but in need of refurbishment. Some changing room locks and lockers are faulty and don’t seem to get repaired

New, modern, fabulous. Has all the facilities, gym, pool 25m and smaller kids pool) , sauna (although i didnt get to use it, looks fab)

Have been very helpful in the pool and gym for the MS exercise classes, sorry it’s how closing for up grade. See you next year.

Brilliant for toddler and small child swimming but soft play area too expensive for its size.

Gym is outdated but the pool is brand new. Sauna and steam room is mixed. Changing rooms could do with an uplift.

I play squash here once a week, friendly helpful staff, although the facilities are becoming a little tired.

Good pool especially the float session on Sundays for kids.
