Write a ReviewFriendly nice staff members always up for a brief chat at the till. Store is clean and tidy with a good variety. Weekly food change is always nice from different countries.
New store seemed to have everything we needed . Will check quality when eating it as not all names I know. Seems a lot cheaper. Trying there wine as well definitely cheaper.
Love the products don’t love the lack of tills open & it would be nice if when someone suddenly decides to open a till that as next in line I get served first – people are rude. Staff are too stressed to be pleasant?
Veggies gone off in one-two days; peaches weren’t eatable even though looked fine. Poor choice.. Almost no meat in fridges. Won’t come back
Great range of groceries and the famous centre aisle. Fruit, vegetables and meat particularly good. Prices really competitive compared to the larger supermarket chains. Self scan would be helpful to eliminate double handling.
There’s something I like about this particular branch and that’s the fruit. They are normally fresh and tasty unlike some insipid fruit that you can find in other supermarkets. …
Great prices as always and the placement of the store is just nearby the movie theater. Easy to grab a snack after the movie
Meh, busy and a mess. Could never do a proper shop in Aldi or Lidl ever, they just do not have the products people want or enough of them.
More like a jumble sale/bootsale than a supermarket. Their own 4.5% beers Parlescher? aren’t too bad at all and we’ll priced
Lidi is good for prices, especially if you are on a budget. The only issue I have is that Lidi doesn’t have a lot of gluten-free choices, especially people like me that can not tolerate gluten. Lidi should provide more gluten-free choice.
Good selection of all items.
Could do with more checkouts being open when queues become evident.
Customer service is non existent in this branch.
Bakery doesn’t have fresh baked bread at 8am!!
When I questioned members of staff they said “It’s just life”
A very nice place! The staff are friendly 🙂 ! The variety of items there are of a standard supermarket – that’s fine. But what really is great are the prices! They are cheap, and affordable for anyone. It’s in the heart of a great shopping centre, and so I highly recommend that you pop in! It’s great inside :D!
Went to purchase a multipack of water, x6 sealed in plastic for 35p as advertised, only to find it was 35p per bottle. Very poor and misleading.
Perfectly placed little store, got everything you’d expect from a lidl and helpful staff.
The usual Lidl Fayre down in staines now. A good sized shop with a bakery and plenty of fridge and frozen items. Just along from the cinema. Plenty of parking nearby. Wheelchair access from car park into the shop.
Managed to get a large turkey crown for Christmas day. Now in my freezer so I’m a happy bunny. Will pick up the rest of stuff I can freeze over the next few weeks and all the fresh just before the big day.
It’s OK but had to hunt round the tills for a basket and no where to put the big wheeled baskets on self service tills. Only 1 staffed till open.
Store is small in size but it is the same service like every lidl around.
It’s quite a large Lidl. I’m still not confident I can complete a fully weekly shop at any Lidl.
Pleasant store but prefer the new Ashford one
it was good. Didn’t find what l was looking for
Great store, awesome selection of products at a reasonable price.
Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Clean and fresh Lidl store.very clear and well organised.plenty of products.a bit of a maze to get out of the store though if you haven’t brought anything though.
For a big store, the aisles are very cramped together. Staff are friendly and helpful. …
the worst managed Lidl store I’ve ever seen.
half of items are missing, if you ask about it there is a vague answer. Management probably is sleeping… when a place is busy, as a manager you have to keep …
every morning we have issues there is only one staff looking self pay counter and other counter. customer HV to wait till that girl finished till
Cheap shopping but rather expensive parking
Terrible experience avoid at all costs. Shelves not stocked no bags and unhelpful security guards. Nasty never again
Lots of selection at a fair price..parking is fine.
Horrible customer service.
The sale assistant told me,,I can do whatever I want’.Couldn’t believe it.What a attitude to the customers. …
Nice store but weak on produce.
Too much rush….
No option to pay in cash in self check out counter
Limited options in each food item
This is a big Lidl with a lot of items in it! And has good quality stock too. The 2 main issues are
– it’s really hard to find some simple things (or they don’t have them) like …
Great selection and friendly staff.
Press the wrong button on the self service check out. it was only 40p I could have walked away but I decide to ask for the money back . Was told that it was my own fault for telling the machine I had two shopping bags ,But I did have two …
This is a nice shop in Staines! It wasn’t crowded and the staff were friendly and helpful!! There was some nice food in there but unfortunately some of the shelves were a bit empty but that’s probably not their fault as lots of staff shortages at the moment!!
Never any stock! Asked the staff when they restock and got a very vague answer and was told to come early morning and shock still no stock! Very frustrating other Lidl’s are always fully stocked and better managed!
All your daily bits and bobs all under one roof at affordable prices. The bakery section sets it apart as it’s all baked in house offering super fresh cakes pastries etc. Also some wierd and wonderful bits for the house garden or garage to be discovered.
Good quality cheap prices many many things I’ve not seen before and you can on a whim buy machine tools and garden equipment awesome place
Excellent bakery section. Every time I visit Staines I have to pop in to buy cheese and donuts and the odd bargain. I wish the parking was free though as any savings you make on groceries are spent on car parking fees.
Always feels a bit chaotic in the self checkout area (buggies/push chairs block the entire area and other checkouts). Sometimes stock levels are high, other times not so much. Often have to go to other supermarkets to pick up anything that wasn’t in stock but that’s fairly normal nowadays shopping for groceries!
Excellent bakery, a bit lacking veg today but so we’re Sainsbury’s, maybe an Easter problem. Only issue is when staff block the aisle whilst re-stocking.
Good prices, Fresh baked bread, Lots of fresh fruit, Veg, Salad, Herbs, Pizzas and deli stuff, Helpful staff, The only thing I’d say is I wish it was a bigger store
Prices are cheap so you can get some decent bargains. The bakery is nice, shame they don’t have a butchers. This would make it 5*. Service is decent. Always someone to help. You always find new, random, interesting things down the middle aisle. Overall, great place yo shop.
e middle aisle fantastic
Absolutely disgusting place. Hardly any basic shopping items are in stock….. No salad, no mushrooms, no aubergine, no courgettes, etc. The shop is full of real undesirables. Spitting outside the entrance, 50% of people were not wearing …
Friendly staff cheapnprice fresh food good meat good beer
Well stocked and very large. Most items have brand name version and then off-brand version right next to it and the quality of their off-brand products is generally really good. I would however note as with most grocery stores they are not …
I like the vegetables and fruits in lidle market. So delicious in affordable price.
Been there often, one of my favourite shopping outlets, lots of variety in brands and products, staff are quite helpful.
Great variety, cheap prices and clean store. Kids love the bakery section and I like to check the specials display which has some regular bargains that change every week or two.
Great to have a Lidl in Staines. If you are familiar with their layout and stock, then all their stores are much the same. Do appreciate the addition of self service check outs. If you’ve never tried them, then give them a go, great value and good quality. If you’re already a fan then enjoy this welcome addition to our town.
Very nice new store not too busy and well-stocked. Wonderful smell of baked goods.Quick service tills. Good parking
Not too spacious and can cause weird/awkward situations to occur. (You’ll find yourself standing with your trolly for a few mins if you don’t say “excuse me” 😂😅) …
This shop has absolutely no excuse to not be covid friendly, there was no one at the door and the aisles were packed with people! This is the perfect place for a one-way system and there wasn’t even that. There is an open bakery section …
Don’t buy vodka here. The bottle was opened. You can’t see this when you purchase it because of the anti-theft device on the neck of the bottle. I put this bottle straight into the freezer only to find that ice was forming in the liquid. It …
I visited and spend around £27 in the store. But, because I busy on the packing and my wife are paying. After that, I realize we forgot to scan the Lidl Plus on my phone. I try to ask the cashier to check whether we can add the point and …
Good stock and good prices!
Try catching you out on parking don’t trust
This Lidl is great, although not sure why, but all Lidl self checkouts are always sticky and ill maintained.
Nice modern super market, good location, always look in the middle aisle for the useful DIY stuff
Myself and my wife shop in Lidl every week.
We find the prices to our liking but sometimes you can’t get all your shopping due to the lack of items on the shelves.
Really bad experience every time I visit. The existing store space was huge but they seem to have squashed it in. I like Lidl just not thismone
Twice now we scanned our Lidl Plus card and it hasn’t registered. So the £10 monthly discount plus any daily offers are not applied. We checked with the till operator as to whether we had scanned successfully and each time, the confirmation …
Lady in long brown hair. without a smile, she did not even notice that instead of punching 1 product she do it 36 times. she repeated it on 3 products. She Can’t say hello or apologize. let him drink coffee or sleep. pay attention to the amount of shopping or go self-service
Love the tool section and the bratwurst of course
Quite a new store in Staines as with all Lidl stores it can look a bit cluttered. In store bakery is great the pastries are fantastic. There store can get busy so they really should have someone managing the number of people entering while we fight covid19
Lidl has gained lot of ground and I totally get it that their aim is to win the customers mostly on price based but they have to get a grip on organising things. Staff do not care about what is happening at shop floor and you feel frustrated most of the time.
Not great discount prices compared to supposedly more expensive super markets. Not much selection, not a lot of space to move / shop and watch the till scans, double charged on a couple of items. Will never shop there again, bad experience.
Big compliment to Sean who served us, left all on his own to manage a till with a massive que and self service. I’m aware of social distancing and the precautions needed to be taken due to this pandemic, however hearing a colleague discuss …
The best Lidl store locally with a large selection of goods, I am a fan of the bakery especially – the baguettes and doughnuts are top notch. …
Kind of reminds me what Primark would be like if they sold food. The one in Staines may ne a bit of a smaller one then people expect or are used to but it has the essentials and a few extra bobs. Id just reccomend they work on staffing the tills or making it a bit more customer managable as the aisles are quite narrow.
Too busy many customers no mask. I did ask them to wear. He out personally under nose was told she didn’t need one as behind plastic screen. But all others were wearing. Untidy shop. Bakery area a mess
First time we visited this store very busy which is to be expected with Lidl low prices .Aisles are much too narrow when pulling a trolley but still a great place to shop..
Medium sized store with the usual Lidl format. Good range if veg , bakery and the usual middle aisle weekly deals. Self check out for basket purchases.
It was good to see the new Lidl store in Staines and some welcome competition for the other local supermarkets. It is not a large store and can feel very crowded at times. The layout is not great especially near the entrance by the Bakery …
Plenty of parking in the 2 rivers shopping area. Plenty of disabled parking outside the shop and the pay parking machine is right there also. Shop well stocked and not too busy so not a long wait at the the checkout.
Shop is always clean and has a good amount of chooses, although during the special week event, probably due to the small size of the shop not all the variety is available.
Some of my favourites foods come from here, reasonably priced usually. Limited size Middle section so not as many tools, etc. as some stores.
still getting sorted methinks…a bit adhoc of what is available…. will give it another try in a couple of weeks
