Write a ReviewSuch an iconic stadium, right in the middle of Cardiff City.
Excellent atmosphere, and completely filled to capacity of almost 75,000 the day we were there – Ireland v Wales for the first round of the 2023 6 Nations …
One of the best stadiums in the UK.
Entry into the venue was quick and easy, even with thorough security checks.
The only issue I had on the date of my visit was that the concessions stands …
PRINCIPALITY STADIUM TOUR COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
So, I couldn’t catch a game because Rugby season is over, but on my latest trip to Cardiff – I ended up doing the tour at the Principality Stadium (aka the …
Great stadium for a gig! It’s so big it’s easy to move around without getting squished. The staff were all very friendly and the place seemed pretty clean. Would love to go on a rugby match day, I’ve heard the atmosphere is immense!
Had a brilliant time at the Speedway. All the staff were really helpful and lovely to deal with. Water fountains inside – no bottles allowed in, had to leave plastic bottles at security, but was asked to take my refillable bottle in, but had to empty. Card payment at the bar.
Brilliant stadium with lots to offer. Great for sporting events and music gigs. Was last there for a gig which was brilliant and will be hard to top. Easy entry though slow exit, drinks were reasonable in regards to pricing and all’s
Rinks came with a cover which I thought was really good.
Having most recently visited to see Ed Sheeran .. a great place to visit with good access clearly laid out – never felt overcrowded or overwhelmed on entry or exit … despite it being full for the concert. Staff were all friendly and …
Went to see Stereophonics and Tom Jones. The gig was incredible. This review is about the venue. Well staffed, good ticketing system and security. Got in very quick and efficient. All the bars were open allowing more choice of where to get …
Attended the Wales v Scotland game. Fantastic venue and have had a great view at every seat… front a few rows from pitch to last row at the top. Atmosphere is fantastic every time. 👌 …
Principality Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the UK.
I went to see WWE Clash at the Castle. Entry was quick and easy, even with security checks. …
Love the atmosphere of a game and the layout of the stadium is good. Personally the seats are a little small but no Biggie… Can’t comment on drinks as I don’t drink. They should do more music concerts here
Well appointed stadium with good sight lines for both sport and other events. Helpful stewards. Beer and food not cheap but plenty of ɓars and restaurants nearby. Entrances 3 and 7 are in slightly different directions when approaching from …
Attended for the WWE Clash at the castle. Plenty of bars with reasonable sized queues. Helps with wrestling shows as the breaks are more frequent. Great atmosphere and viewing from our seats (subjective to location). However some positions …
Went there to see WWE Clash at the Castle. The event was a lot of fun and well supervised, even if the seats were a little cramped due to the size of the crowd. Only downside was being overcharged at the merchandise stall, got £50 of stuff …

Huge sporting/concert venue. Right in the heart of Cardiff so easy to access via the train. Lots of gates with experienced teams of people to check tickets, check bags etc. Very easy to access the upper level seats as long as you can climb …
Have to say the way the stewards handled the crowds, the set up of the building and the two combined created a very efficient system during a recent concert that we went to. …
First visit for a Wales rugby test and totally worth the trip. Great atmosphere and location in city centre. Only downside is if travelling by train its carnage at the railway station after the match
Large Venue, very efficient layout. I’d advise knowing what gate you’re entering by as they are a fair walk apart from each other and require you to go through the city center at times. Visited for Rammstein, best night of our lives
Great place for watch the rugby! Not sure if it was just us but we couldn’t see any signs for lift access? Two of us were post covid so struggled with the stairs with our chests. Other than that, great venue.
Was here today to catch the WWE show clash of the champions. The stadium is east to find. The roads towards the stadium are closed off making it easier for the large crowds to walk. …
Truly an amazing stadium with an amazing atmosphere.
Everything is so easily accessible, and everything is catered for.
Cardiff City center is fab to wander around before and after any event.
Great for a stadium! Staff are really friendly and nice, lots of toilet spaces.
Seats are super uncomfortable and very very very close together, but that’s standard for a stadium. Beers were quite pricey, about £6.50 a pint for the cheapest …
Went to watch Rammstein…wow what a gig..and what a venue to hold it. It holds a lot of people for one, very well organised, roof was open for the whole gig (which was needed thanks to the pyrotechnics) merch stand was located outside. The …
Went to see Beyoncé, and the set up was great, I got there for when the doors open and I didn’t have to queue at all. My seats were at the top, and the view was great. More
Epic show and thank you for having one of the greatest metal bands in the world and bringing the best show I have ever seen to Wales. Apart from that, it was quite difficult to find the gate we needed to be at to enter, couldn’t find any …
Did a tour and Steve our guide was great.
The shop wasn’t super expensive so a good place for gifts.
All in all we loved it.
What can you really say about the home of Welsh Rugby? I’ve been coming here for over a decade and it’s improved every year. More facilities, better options for food and drink. Plus the atmosphere is worth the price of admission alone.
I am quite a nervous person when it comes to crowds and enclosed spaces, but the concert experience at the Principality stadium was great and put my mind at ease. At no point did I feel that there were too many people around, despite the …
Really well organised for Rammstein. Da Iawn Pawb! The merch queue was huge but everyone spread out without blocking the way. The staff were flying. …
Fantastic stadium with great views. Crowd volume travels across the entire stadium. Tiered seats are well elevated and great view of titantron
Stadium was absolutely brilliant and the atmosphere for Ed sheeran was incredible the only down fall to it all was trying to find the gate numbers. If they had a sign on the Gates (example gate 1) they could write on it gate 2 left and gate …
Went here for rammstein concert, security was a breeze and drinks and food were OK price, 6£ for chicken strips and £6 for 500ml beers …
The stadium itself is a good size and the atmosphere was amazing with the closed roof. There were a few let downs and that was the section we were in was part of the old stadium and it was very hard to get to our seats. The organisation …
Absolutely fabulous experience for clash at the castle the atmosphere was great we had good seats it was easy to get to very helpful stadium staff throughout.
Volunteered for #WREURO23 and had an amazing time.
Visitors from all nations loved the stadium and really enjoyed the Welsh hospitality.
Great atmosphere, plenty of refreshment stands and loos! Staff are super friendly and helpful and keep all walkways clear. Very well organised for getting all crowds in and out safely.
Watched South Africa Vs Wales on 6th of November. Walking to the stadium is great for the build up. Everyone is singing and friendly. The stadium itself is amazing and the atmosphere and acoustics are amazing.
Had a fantastic time here. Staff were very helpful. European wheelchair rugby championships 2023

Beautiful stadium- great venue for live sports events. Easy links to all transport links.
It was packed for Wales Ireland, but the stadium support team were brilliant. Friendly, chatty and helpful. We were able to get in, locate our seats easily.

I attended Principality Stadium for WWE Clash At The Castle amazing stadium and staff were nice and helpful. Really enjoyed being in this stadium. I was on the floor was easy to get in and out no complications.
Visited this magnificent stadium today for the international rugby match between Wales and New Zealand . Atmosphere amazing as always, great stadium, located in the centre of this great city . A must visit in my opinion.Always a pleasure to visit the city and the stadium
We to the rugby yesterday, fantastic atmosphere, both sets of fans had banter with each other but nothing more than that
Watching Wales win against Argentina was a great first experience of principality stadium. Absolutely fantastic.
First class venue. All good facility’s More
Great place to enjoy matches and concerts!!
But the washrooms should be maintained throughout the match as people don’t throw tissue papers all around. So I suggest having a cleaner clean the washrooms during the match would be great.
Cold Play concert.
So well organised, good facilities, can’t fault it, staff were all friendly and happy.
It was great to attend the concert there, the stadium is big, navigating our seat was clear but still there are areas to improve as we were a bit lost. More
I have to put my hands up and say that I’m not used to crowds, and particularly now that I’m mobility impaired. In the first instance the majority of the staff members were absolutely spot on. They assisted with my wheelchair access, and …
I’ve visited a few times for various rugby fixtures and a concert. Truly a world class stadium, especially with the roof shut when the weather is bad! The ticketing app is intuitive, staff do their best to keep queues to a minimum and there …
Brilliant venue watching Coldplay – nice staff who were helpful. Very organised. More
So just been on the stadium tour. The positive, you go to every area you’d expect from pitch side to the top row of seats, hospitality areas, both changing rooms and press room (didn’t get in as something was going on, fair enough). …
Came here to see Coldplay live. What a amazing night daughter and myself had. Best night out in my life. Staff were happy and friendly. Venue was well kept and facilities clean. Would I come again for another concert. Book me in I’m on my way 100% praise More
The staff were really welcoming to an England fan! (Even better when England win)
As a Welsh lady I am incredibly proud of the Stadium. Every visit I get the same overwhelming sense of pride. Last night I attended the Coldplay Concert which was as professional as a concert can be and the Stadium played a big part in …
Principality Stadium in Cardiff is a must-visit landmark for sports enthusiasts and tourists alike. The imposing structure stands as a testament to Wales’ passion for rugby and offers a breathtaking atmosphere during matches. The stadium’s …
Would be good if you didn’t need to wait half an hour to get a drink.
You pay more than £100 for a ticket
And you miss a lot of the game
Came for the Judgement Day rugby, stadium as always is very good. Staff were helpful. Easy to get into and exit.
Amazing Stadium, Covid Guidance in Place, Stewards & Security was excessive and some of their attitudes were unprofessional (7 different stewards before I was at my seat) spoilt my experience, some Stewards were helpful in places but some appeared to be on a power trip.
A great atmosphere that was certainly palpable with the roof closed and a full crowd
Great stadium but let down by a poor overpriced drinks and food selection with massive queues, forget it you’re veggie, they even ran out of chips
Staff were a helpful, amazing venue so close to shops bars restaurants. Right next to the train station. More
Amazing stadium which we visited for the Coldplay concert, great accessibility and organisation around entering and leaving, toilets clean before and after the event.
Went watching a concert, well managed considering, so many people was there. Same coming out, no problem. There was buses and taxis, all very near to the stadium. So are shops and eateries. Nice experience. More
Just a couple of crazy Americans having a blast at the Wales v Ireland game. What an incredible experience!
Close to the trains station, not too big, not too small just right size.
Went to Beyonces concert.
It’s a good stadium. Great that the roof can close. Easy to find your seats as its well marked.
Prices for drinks a little expensive but that’s just like any other stadium.
