Newport (Gwent) County Court and Family Court reviews

Not the most pleasant of places, security search extremely invasive, much worse than criminal courts. The judge an absolute male bird, understood mental health but didn’t and made one feel like a chastened child. Horrible experience and horrible judge who is known to attend the meat rack.

Have been on the phone for over an hour and a quarter (so far) just waiting for it to be answered, and then 5pm came and they went home! – where are our tax monies going? All council services are shocking at the moment!

Very easy to find through Google maps and conveniently located next to a large parking lot, which was reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The court main entrance gate – in level 1 if I remember right – is so tightly …

The Court entrance isn’t obvious from the road and it’s not clear from the website that it’s part of Clarence House. You have to go into the reception for them to point you upstairs to court. …

Omg this place is shocking nobody knows how to pick up a phone, read an email, nevermind reply to one it’s a joke meanwhile my wedding is on hold because of there incompetence!

Terrible IVR makes very little sense, then just get a message saying ‘sorry our operators are busy’ and get hung up on. Very slow response to e-mails.

Absalout rubbish!!! No service on answering the phones and when you do get through, you need another department and after waiting, another department. In the end hung up, could not be arsed. Sure i will get a letter through!!!

Really don’t understand why they refuse to answer the phones. Worst service I’ve ever seen

Incompetence at its finest, even the judges fail to bring law material relevant to the case into the court on the day, useless
