From getting there at 830am to leaving around dinner the staff was amazing.
Helpful, friendly and kept looking in on me. …
Had to attend the a&e dept on Sunday due to a head injury. All the staff were amazing and worked so hard. The nurses looking after me couldn’t have done any better and stitched me up painlessly. Everybody was treated with respect and compassion. Paramedics George and Jane were also brilliant.
Very large hospital. I got lost in the carpark before even entering the building. Lots of parking spaces.
Although getting lost, and the signs within the hospital not being very helpful, …
Had an eye injury, and went to eye casualty queens medical. Awesome experience
1) plenty of car parking options …
This hospital caused my child a lot of suffering. The consultants ego was more important to him than caring for my child properly despite other professionals crying out for scans. This resulted in my child needing a very big operation. The staffs assumptions also cause suffering to patient and family.
The staff in A&E were friendly, informative and professional.
When the patient was moved up to the floor above they were put in a side room.
Once again the patient was well cared for. …
My mother was taken in with a bad back (which turned out to be fractured vertebrae). …
Already allowed one of my unborn twins to die coz of not reading the reports. They don’t listen to what you tell them when your hanging on to the one that’s left. You raise concerns that match the same problems as just before we lost the …
Truly the worst hospital in the UK. AVOID if you have a medical emergency. After been give a letter from my doctors. Explaining I was losing blood and needed to be sent immediately to see the Emergency gynaecologists. I entered A&E on …
Qmc A&E have really gone down hill. They punish you for going into A&E. They do the test within 2 to 3 hours then make you sit around for another 6 hours waiting for a doctor to review the results. I know 3 people, including my daughter …
My friend’s little sister went in after being spiked and the doctor spent the entire session interrogating her about drinking too much, when she had one drink. She requested testing as she had gaps of time missing and was suspected she was …
They want a pay rise 🤣 worst hospital I have been in and the staff not much better a smile wouldn’t hurt, needs knocking down and rebuilding, dirty and old. Left waiting for ages, no one tells you anything 3.30pm appointment and still waiting at 5pm… f—king joke …
Still wondering why some people work in QMC? No compassion or passion for the job.
Without a fantastic consultant who saw me and realized that i was very ill, I …

Just want to thank the amazing staff on the maternity unit. My daughter Rae Fitzgerald and hubby Matt had their little one Zion on 21st Dec. A difficult birth but they were so good. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your care!!
Amazing staff, supportive charity and great facility
My husband was admitted into A&E Dec 17th due to breathing difficulties. From the moment we arrived until he was discharged we cannot thank all staff, whatever their role, enough. The care was exemplary they all went beyond & above. We are both so very grateful, thank you.

I spoke to the QMC’s records department regarding an “Access to Health Records” request and the person I spoke to (Dianne) was exceptionally helpful. If only other establishments showed this level of care! Thank you!

I’m not sure why I was thinking about this last night but it just goes to show how poor bedside manner can actually stay with someone a lot longer then the positive experiences. I actually got out of hospital on Christmas Eve 2005 (shows …
Three times now I’ve been sent to the STU for urgent surgery and every time staff have been amazing. I have a phobia of needles and am nervous of medical things in general and I’m always treated with empathy and given lots of support like …
I went to A&E yesterday at 11am for sudden severe head pain which my GP said could be inflammation of brain nerves such as a brain bleed. I went in there absolutely terrified and had to wait 4 hours just to have a CT scan. The A&E …

“I had a terrible experience at this medical center. The staff was rude and unprofessional, the facilities were unclean, and the doctor seemed disinterested in my concerns and was in rush. I do not recommend this place.”
One of the best Medical centre.
Nurses are stuck so far up their own arses , awful hospital and staff. Stop striking and do some actual work.
My first baby was born here on the 9th Of September 2022, and all I can say is a big Thank You to the amazing staff, from the Doctors, Midwives and down to the staff serving the food. Very pleased with the way they took care of us. I am pleased to give a 5 star review and have nothing more to say than fantastic and thank you all..
Today a+e staff were through and caring utmost respect for service you provide for us all thank you x
Worst hospital in the world. Everytime I come here it takes longer and longer to get any treatment. If this hospital is supposed to be so busy then why doesn’t it have proper staff. Cannot fault doctors and other medical staff but they too are being overwhelmed.
Feel as though the staff was unnecessarily cold and impersonal, forgetting that the patients who come in are actual people with feelings. We obviously understand that A&E department are under a lot of stress however getting easily aggravated at vulnerable patients is not okay.
Lovley people helped me out stay calm after my accident, took a while to get some water but they were great thank you all so much
5 star treatment from A and E yesterday. After a fall walked into reception at 1130, seen, x-ray treated and out by 1.30. Brillent nurses.

My husband was blue lighted to QMC yesterday and after so much recent bad press, I want to give the staff some well deserved praise. The ambulance called ahead and we went straight through to the accident and emergency and received prompt …
90% of the nurses are compassionate, kind and caring. It’s a shame the 10% of cruel and nasty nurses with no compassion or empathy completely ruin it. A hospital is somewhere people are vulnerable, scared and at their worst. Nurses NEED …
Unfortunately didn’t catch the name of the gent helping me with my palpitations & chest pain but he was fantastic as were all members of the team that dealt with me. …
Attended last week with a dislocated shoulder and was seen pretty quickly (probably due to the audible pain I was in). The staff got me some pain relief and popped it back in and I was out of there in about an hour and a half total. I get that A&E can be hit or miss but in this instance I had a very good experience.
Excellently cared for. Beautifully maintained. Well trained, helpful and caring staff. Superb transport links.
Went for a endoscopy at Queens Med and all the staff were so friendly and made me feel so relaxed such a great team. Thankyou

Slaughterhouse with so many young inexperienced midwives. Hurroundous experience of my wife’s maternity in this ward.

Brilliant service, great nurses and doctors but pharmacy staff are completely unhelpful and incompetent especially on the 01/01/23 from 8pm seems like they’ve just hired the first people on the spot, massive let down

I went for a surgery over night here, the surgeons did an amazing job, I felt in safe hands throughout the process and my quality of life has improved. The nurses took amazing care of me and I’m proud to have this hospital in Nottingham, it deserves more credit than it receives and more funding.
I was there today April 8 2022. I signed in at the emergency department at 12:30 pm. Hours later I learned the receptionist did not sign me in. They called her as she had knocked off. The staff pushed me up according to the time I was …
Shocking treatment from C52!!! if we could give a lower score than one star we would, my mothers daughter my sister sadly lost her battle with MS and passed away whilst my mother was in the QMC. They informed us she was to be released back …

Having just spent the night in A&E I just want to thank all the nurses and doctors. You do an absolutely amazing job and we wouldn’t be able to survive without ur dedication and hard work.
Life saved, when I was unaware of the degeneration of my cervical spine, and today I had a epidural in my lumber. I just want to say, these guys are saints. Thank you to the consultants, surgical team, nurses and, everyone in the NHS. I see the pressure your under but still had time to me feel safe, again thank you.
Unless you want to waste 12 hours of your life in accident and emergency watching nurses gossip and mess around avoid as much as you can. I’ve been to A&E around 8 times in the past year because they failed to diagnose gallstones and kept …
Amazing service and amazing staff. Having a world class facility in Nottingham like this makes us realise how lucky we are. …

Thanks to the staff I met today
Was there for five hours for a simple UTI infection, once I was finally seen and prescribed medication the pharmacy didn’t even have my medication.
After staying on A23 through a traumatic and heartbreaking time I was overwhelmed with pride at the service of our NHS all the staff were incredibly kind and caring and most notebly Deborah the Hca/Housekeeper she was incredibly caring and …
Receptionist (and she’s the manager) at A&E is just plain rude and disrespectful. Disregarding everything my friend said blaming it on mental health instead of having him checked out. …
Poor excuse of a hospital. They don’t answer their phones. Waiting times are an absolute joke. You’d actually be seen sooner if you travelled to another city! (God forbid). Staff are generally extremely disrespectful (especially Lucy from …
