Went to the gym there whilst my daughter swam. Gym is well kitted out for a small village. Clean and tidy. Swimming pool is old but good enough. Plenty of parking. Machines for drinks and bites.

It.s a shame only 20 people with full membership can book aqua gym 2 weeks in advance. The other ones cannot as it.s always fully booked. There’s still plenty of space to keep distances.

Nice swimming pool and sports hall. Really friendly staff. Gym is up to date with different gym classes as well. Free car park on site. Open early till late.

It has gone down hill since being taken over by the new contract. In spite of a quarter million pound refit, equipment takes months to be sorted out when it breaks down. Part of the gym floor was out of commission for months due to floor lifting due to damp.

Great gym & facilities but why is it closed at 5pm 30/12/19? Not a bank holiday, not New Year’s Eve. Not good.

Excellent very well organised for swimming, but staff on reception were very slow with checking in.

The long overdue update of the gym is awesome, was thinking of leaving, but for the price it’s really great value now.

Good parking nice swimming pool however everything is getting a little dated. Gym and classes require membership.

Pool temperature is VERY hot. Gym needs expanding. Shower facilities aren’t the best.

The personal trainers at Ongar Leisure Centre gym have helped progress my re-hab significantly from my wheelchair, continue to see strong improvements.

I only use the pool at the center, and the water quality and general cleanliness of the changing rooms have improved since the change of ownership

Great facilities and staff, a good variety of classes

Very well set up for keeping distance and able to sanitise with every effort to keep a feel of safety

Great friendly staff but facilities badly in need of an upgrade.

Need better management, generally their customer services are ok, but when you come to problem they just blaming each others, who said that, who tell u that, abit childish management there, blaming each others rather than finding solution.

Only interested in the Cardio gym the member of staff was helpful in answering any questions.

Don’t close it. It serves our community. Not an iron man gym. Thank goodness.
