Guided walking with Michael as our guide. Trails and tavernas in Crete based in Chania is my first ever walking holiday and I loved it. Perfect holiday, weather not so much but can’t do anything about that. Would definitely book again.

The Ramblers Walking Holidays I took “Catalonian Trails” was excellent. The hikes were exactly my level of ability and interest, the scenery spectacular, and the accommodations and (especially) meals were outstanding.

Just arrived back from walking in Crete with Ramblers Holidays. Chania has a beautiful harbour and lots of history, and provides an excellent base for walking holidays in the area. We saw different parts every day, with never more than 40 minutes in the bus. There is lots of history and interesting sites to visit along the way.

The holiday in St Zyprian is an excellent introduction to cramponning and snow-shoeing as you take in the visual and culinary delights of the Dolomites. The group was well-led by the experienced, knowledgeable leader with local guides. You can even choose to fit in some skiing on your day off if you like !

Lovely group of people, excellent guide, interesting walks with lovely villages, towns and tavernas. Everything was well organised.

Can highly recommend this trip – what an experience! Scenery to die for, challenging ascents/descents but so worth it. The guides/leaders/porters really looked after us & were the best, it was emotional saying goodbye to them all.

A lovely holiday in Jersey, a short flight from UK. Stayed at an excellent hotel in St Helier, The Monterey. Great Ramblers walk leader. The island has lots to offer if you decide to have a rest day, the zoo, Botanical gardens, war tunnels and its museums with lots of island history not to mention lots of shops.

An enjoyable trip, enhanced by a comfortable stay at Eype Mouth Hotel and a good guide. The hotel was an excellent choice and had a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, the food was great, the location is lovely. Mary worked hard to make the walks interesting and do-able and to help the group to gel.

Excellent and varied walks and rest day activities, a particularly good group experience and no significant complaints about food and drink, although I do like more, more lightly cooked vegetables and muesli for breakfast.

Lovely walks,great leader.Hotel accessable by train.The only downside was that single rooms were not available at the hotel.I paid £300 extra to stay in a double room which was in poor condition.Breakfast was basic but evening meals delicious.
