South Ribble Borough Council reviews

Excellent service clearing away fly tip which was left by some local residents outside Tesco’s Salvation Army collection bins. Can’t believe what some people choose to do.

Lazy! Street cleaning, when done at all, is haphazard with no planning & even less forewaring to residents. As a result streets are never cleaned properly! Nor do they respond to enquiries, unless pressured! Residents deserve better!
Like 99.999% of politicians, local or national, this lot are useless jobsworths!

Worst website I have ever come across, all the links are broken uncluding the contact us, had to google the number in the end. Unable to sign up for council tax online as the website is so poor There is the option to do it, it just does not work, extremely fustrating in this day and age, now sat in a telephone que.

Absolutely useless. Someone steals your bins? Up to you to cough up the £30 minimum for one bin; good luck if some crusty sock of a human has stole more than one bin too. Try to pay your council tax? Can’t do that, the site is useless and buggy and payments don’t process properly.

Only authority I have lived in where additional bin/waste collections aren’t offered. Even at an additional cost, it’s worth offering. A lack in customer service, not meeting customers needs.

I have used the cleansing department a few times over the last few years and found the staff, both in the office and also the men who came to get rid of the rats in the garden, the wasp nest and now the removal of an old fridge, kind courteous and efficient. Many Thanks

Excellent service in relation to my green waste bin and pest control. The member of staff was lovely and very efficient while resolving my concerns. Credit where credit is due!!

When we bought our house it was on a brightly lit road until they fitted led lights now it’s disgraceful can’t see anything at all, we’ve had an attempted break in and they damaged the front window, put the old lights back!!!!!

Regularly carry out environmental vandalism in the name of development. I thought long and hard and can’t think of anything good about SRBC.

Extremely helpful and supportive of all our community events, SRBC is well managed and has worked miracles in keeping our rates as low as possible.

I am frying to find out how to get a waste collection calender but it does recognise my search! How clear can I be????

Very difficult to contact them. Waiting ages on phone and website difficult to understand, poor service

4 months they are not able to send me bin label, and now they asking 4 quid for sending one! very bad service

What a bunch of tossers from the gateway department, they loose your recycling bin, chuck them all over your drive then get told by an obnoxious rude and unhelpful bloke called Russel it’s my own fault and it’s up to me to replace,

Been in contact with them several times abouts bins been left on my property but no use they came out but no good still the same
