Write a ReviewAmazing Ferry line!! Best one I have travelled with so far!
They are brilliant, service was incredible and at a decent rate. …
Best ferry company, very professional in every aspect. Friendly staff, great food served up by a nice Scottish gentleman. The cabin was superb, as good as a hotel, if not better. …
Smooth sailing, you could barely feel the boat move. Cabin was small but acceptable, enough room for a family of four. Food and drink service was great, staff were very polite. The kids enjoyed the selection of free movies. The 8 hours on board passed quickly. Saved us driving to Scotland.
Cabin was comfy, food wasn’t good the shop had no alcohol, gifts, many people were angered about not selling cigarettes, I wanted to purchase a bracelet that was on the ship we got on outward journey, but all they had was watches. I found the prices were expensive .. no duty free anymore.
Easy check in, clean, comfortable cabins, restaurant, snacks and bar. Very friendly and helpful crew. Option of day or night crossing with vehicle or as a foot passenger. There are tv’s in the public areas and you also get limited Internet at sea.
Really enjoyed taking the trip across from Belfast. The whole process from booking till getting off the ferry was smooth. Stenaline had everything one needed from a ferry. Reasonably priced food, a comfortable cabin and a smooth ride. The …
We had a deluxe cabin on our trip to Liverpool this time and can only say that this was one of the best decisions we made. we were so relaxed from the start of our trip but what really makes the trip are the Stena Line staff from every part …
Love love stenaline and the friendly helpful staff, the cabins are one of the best value for money, definitely a must on an 8 hour journey, spotlessly clean and fresh with tv and plenty of channels to choose from, 11/10
The trip was amazing and I enjoyed it. It was my first time heading to Belfast using the ferry. Honestly, I recommend it for the tourists and make sure to bring your own food because the restaurants inside the ferry are expensive. The burger itself will cost about 11-12 GBP
Very clean cabins, the staff is very nice and helpful, good food i really enjoyed my trip and i highly recommend
Our trip from Liverpool was smooth and comfortable. The trip takes 8 hours and we normally go over night, but this time we went at 8am. This meant we arrived in Belfast at 1830. There is a bit of a wait to get on the ferry but the Stenna …
It was great we book passenger cabins so it was good we are 4 members 2 adults and 2 kids bed are good for sleep toilet was clean you can take shower as well and we had dinner as well food was good not much expensive kids also have good food but just less options for chicken. Kids have clean play area. highly recommended
I booked on line – 4 passengers and car Liverpool to Belfast return for my sons wedding – – however I made an error in the booking and also discovered I was entitled to discount. I called the help desk number and the wonderful staff (Emily) …
Going out from Belfast to Liverpool, good trip. Only gripe! you had to be in the car queue at least one hour before sailing as gates close at 9.30am for the 10.30am sailing. …
Excellent crossing to Liverpool on a very comfortable modern ship. Great crew too!
Never had a bad experience, any member of staff we’ve ever dealt with has been very polite and courteous!
Also, everyone is also so nice with children! We have a very curious 4 year old, …
Room a lovely size however not very clean especially around the window area, coffee stain on window sil. Hairs and dust around bed. Staff very friendly, highly recommend the stena plus lounge if you want drinks and snacks in with the price
Much better than expected, considering the current restrictions. Good food, decent cabins, clean, good sleep, it does the job! Only downside was (for me)-some people not bothering with the masks, but otherwise great!👍 …
Super ship. Very spacious and modern
I have to say, this was my first time on a ferry crossing and granted it was a Saturday morning Belfast to Liverpool trip and it was SO nice!! Granted there were like…eight passengers in total it seemed like but crew was so kind and helpful. Cabin was gorgeous and comfy! It made an 8 hour trip seem like nothing!
Honestly, a great ferry service between Liverpool and Belfast! Not overly expensive, multiple spacious lounge areas (along with restaurants, a cafe, bar, etc.) & even a couple of movie rooms. Unsure if I just had a quiet ride, but it feels …
Booked a pet cabin to allow us to take our mutt across the sea without needing to put him in the kennels (which would have stressed him unnecessarily). Cabin was compact, but had everything we needed, including very easy access to an …
As normal utterly fab. Not a ferry but a cruise. No its part of the enjoyment of our holiday.
Clean comfortable ship and cabin. Good pillows, which is rare on a ferry!
Food in truckers lounge was OK. No orange juice at breakfast 🙁. Staff friendly and helpful. …
So far Avery positive experience. I paid extra for premier lounge. As soon as I checked in I was treated like a VIP
Easy check-in and security process. Long sit awaiting boarding which can be expected to a degree as the check-in opens three hours before departure and closes an hour before departure. They seemed to wait until the check-in closed before they commenced boarding but this may just have been this particular sailing.
It’s like my second home
I’m actually addicted 😅
Very welcoming. Lovely staff. …
Easy to drive too from Manchester. Much Better than going to an Airport. Staff very friendly and helpful good service overall.
Best way to travel too Ireland / Northern Ireland 😀❤❤ …
Used stenna line from Liverpool to Belfast for holiday travel. Photo recognition of number plate made booking in easy. Spectacular views from the ferry of both the Mersey and the Belfast approach. Stenna were organised well on embarking and disembarking at both ends.
Friendly and helpful staff, poor amenities, coffee shop closed, refreshment coffee machine broken. A cold stand if waiting on a ferry. There is no television area, just a bit depressing tbh. I travelled on the Liverpool/Belfast ferry 2230hrs. Dont expect a great coffee on board ether, all machine made.
Very pleased with the ferry crossing .
Great cabin and very clean and plenty of place’s to sit.
Lovely pleasant journey from birkhead to belfast, polite friendly staff, clean area, excellent deluxe outside cabin was very impressed, will pick again for future travel thank you 😊 …
Check-in was smooth and the staff were very friendly. The terminal is practical with vending machines at check-in and a small café in the departures lounge. If you’re a foot passenger a bus will take you down to the ferry. The terminal …
We travelled from Liverpool to Belfast using Stena line ferry service.
It is excellent service. We found everyone in Stena line are excellent. …
I work for GTS and use the Dock very often always feel very welcome credit to all the staff 🙂 …
The longest haul to Belfast or Dublin good package deals from time to time make it a good day out in either of the beautiful cities
Busy at times with the heavy haul
Love the ferry.
very clean and comfortable, staff are nice. This is my second time travelling with Stena Line and it is the best!
Stenaplus is the best way to travel
Got us across on coach with no trouble.
they have lovely cabins. the food is good and not expensive. public toilets are clean.
Really disappointing experience in the so called Cinema (its advertised as a cinema, but is actually a ‘Movie Lounge’), the sound is on so quiet you cannot hear most of the dialogue (if you are lucky the subtitles may be on), plus the …
I didn’t take a crossing to the Isle Man,
or to Ireland. But did spend many many hours here (Quay-side) as a homeless person with the beautifully dangerous river mersey as companion and friend. Such …
Stena Edda and sister ship (also nearly new) beautiful vessel. Luxurious, relaxing and comfortable with fantastic staff. Pricey to take a car but saving on emissions if not on £s. …
It was a Great experience. We traveled from Belfast to Liverpool at night and travelled back to Belfast during daytime. The cabins are great so the journey was quite relaxing.
Terminal area needs updating, even though it’s a dock the car park and passenger walk into the terminal is covered in smashed glass! Very dangerous for younger passengers. Walk down from station could be better signposted, and a shuttle bus would be awesome between Hamilton station and the terminal
Superb ship, very modern, great facilities and service. We chose the Hygge Lounge and slept well both ways, but try not to be allocated a front row as the TV on all night, even without sound, can be very distracting. A bit more …
I’ve been in this place a good few times now and will say I don’t normally have any problems here, staff are helpful, in and out no problem. Added bonus of a great view of the Liverpool waterfront as you book in. 👍 …
Good facilities, there was however a lack of staff on board. The ones that were there seemed to be spread thin between serving food, selling in the shop and other duties. …
Virtually on time every morning, comfy nice trip
Well recomended,
Excellent service. Must have if you are planning to visit Mainland UK from NI or vice versa.
This is our return journey an it was almost impossible to find the way to the car check in. Just a mass of cones and no clear signage. The staff as usual were excellent very friendly and helpful.
Very good standard of comfort in the cabin which was well laid out, perfect lighting and gave an excellent sleep from 2130 until 0600 hrs. Rather amusingly I went to sleep in Birkenhead and, due to deck crew testing positive, the ship did …
Lovely. I travel at least every two mths to visit my children. Wouldn’t go any other was but Stena Line. Think people who travel often should get some kind of discount though.
Very efficient with double loading ramps for the new overnight ferries and flat floor access to passenger areas from the main car deck.
Very friendly, a good way to travel to Belfast
Good service and a bonus great view of the city from the departure lounge
1st trip to Belfast with Stena Line. I am very impressed with their communication from start to finish. Well organised at Liverpool docks getting us on the ferry early. Impressive ferry, looks new, very clean and smart, warm cabins with everything that you need. We look forward to travelling with them again soon.
Used this ferry as we don’t like the passenger ferry, got a day cabin and cabins are very basic ,you get 2 meals withing the price of your ticket food is quite good ad the staff are friendly.
Booked a cabin as it was the overnight sailing. Pretty uneventful. The cabin was lovely and clean and had plenty of charging points. Managed to to get quite a few hours sleep. One disappointment was we arrived late into dock but there was no explanation why this was. Definitely would book this way again.
Great experience. Dog friendly. The whole trip went with ease. Dog canins close to poop deck
If I want to take a couple of beers on they take them of me so I go to the bar and people there who have a car but can sit in a corner and open there wine go to the bar first and show them a bottle of tonic water and ask for 2 glasses with ice and as I said before they can sit and drink 2 bottles of wine
Stena Line is FAB. ONLY WITH STENA PLUS THOUGH, SEEING AS YOU GET FREE UNLIMITED COFFEE AND EVERYTHING ELSE. Been with them a few times, nothing bad ever happened except a really big wave that made me loose my fish and chips 🙁
Good steady crossing no issues boat of lovely with 2 cinemas and good bar, paid for hygge lounge, and if it were not for the kids gaining entry and letting all there mates in it would have been lovely.
It was a special and quiet trip
I only felt threatened and sophisticated in service and dealing from beginning to end
The ferry was a bit noisy, but the complimentary ear plugs for the overnight crossing was a nice touch. The staff were all very nice and helpful, we were on deck 5 with lift access as we are both disabled.
Excellent Ship. Very well laid out. Easy access for disabled passengers to and from the car car decks.
Cabins very comfortable,, with spacious shower room. (Shower better than any …
All good, no complaints at all. Good cabin, slept well.
Sound if you arrive early enough but no fun if you cut it a bit fine for check-in. Stay with your car until check-in opens then join the queue of traffic and the staff will guide you all the way
Stenaline offers two services from Liverpool to Belfast a day 10:30 mng and 22:30night
Travel duration 8hrs, needs to arrive the port 60mins prior to departure.
Easy boarding and a great sailing
Well I couldn’t wait until reaching port, to express our gratitude to stena lines and their staff for making our crossing a most enjoyable one. From start to finish Katrina and David at the front desk were excellent no query or issue that …
Just come back on the Stena Embla this morning. We were made very welcome and the two staff in Stena plus couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks to Michael and Beth for making us so welcome
The Best……brings me right home to my front door near enough. Great sailing, clean as a whistle this boat, servery lovely, toilets beautiful, seating plentiful..
Very impressive ship. Modern styling and relaxing atmosphere. Great food and drink offerings. Smooth efficient service.
Fantastic ship operators, they know how to look after you, very nice sea faring experience, also had dolphins escorted for a while
Dropped my son and his girlfriend at the terminal,in my opinion, they need to have better signs on where to park,I only say this because people in their cars were in the same queue to get on the ship when alls they wanted was to park
All the doors are very heavy and noisy, even the fridge doors it us especially annoying at night when we’re trying yo sleep. I’M and OAP PLEASE please fix the noise problem.
Faboulous a great trip staff great very friendly. Will come again no problem.
Great Cruise experience
Great service, great food and rooms clean. Staff are always helpful and welcoming. Always will take the ferry over the airport.
