I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. We were called ahead of time to discuss any concerns we had with the property, and I received the survey report the following day. The report was really clear and easy to understand compared to a lot of documentation we’ve had in our house buying process so far.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE. They will downvalue by your property by over £20k after being there for less than 3 minutes. The company will never admit fault, but they’ll be sure to hit their downvalue quotas, and then hide behind social media teams.

They missed an issue on my garage extension when doing a survey, which has cost me over £5,000 to resolve. They haven’t wanted to help and found every loop hole in trying to avoid helping. So I’m complaining to RICS to claim damages. Avoid and request someone else do your surveying for your mortgage

Poor experience

From start to finish the service was brilliant, responses to emails where literally in minutes. The Surveyor (Stephen) couldn’t do enough for us calling before to ask us if theres anything we wanted him to look at in particular.

I was really impressed with the swift communication, turnaround of the report and the professionalism of everyone I interacted with at Valunation. They made this part of the mortgage process simple and stress free!

They down value by a big amount. When asked why… they say lack of evidence, but the evidence clearly shows the complete opposite.

Reports are based on masses of hypotheses rather than factual information, not worth the paper its written on.
