My sister gave me this adventure as a present so I took an elderly gentleman to brighten up his life. We had a thoroughly brilliant day and we acted like 2 naughty schoolboys. The ferry ride was fun as was the steam train to Corfe Castle. My friend loved our day out and so did I and we have decided to go again next summer.

Absolutely wonderful day out. The Bluebell Railway is fabulous and the work they have done there is amazing. The Wakehurst Gardens were truly beautiful with magnificent trees and something beautiful wherever you look. The flowers in the walled garden were a riot of colour. Excellent.

We went to The Donnington Collection, and it was excellent. There were so many vehicles to see! An interesting display of military vehicles and ancillary stuff. Then a wonderful display of F1 cars, photos and memorabilia. Nice little cafe as well. Well worth a visit.
