Council Tax Office – surprisingly quick to answer and get to talk to a team member who was very helpful and efficient with dealing with my mother’s council tax issue. Very pleasant telephone manner and gave additional helpful advice. Hence the 5*

They have changed the automated council tax payment system so an automated voice can shout your details out, including the end numbers of your bank card. I will always have to wear headphones so I can hear her from now on. Thanks for that, guess the extra money you’re screwing out of me went on the update.

Waste of space. Don’t actually fix issues you report for over a year. Don’t respond to emails. No local fields with cut grass for people to use. I’ve no idea at all what all our council tax gets spent on. I would rate 0 stars if possible.

Hopeless website, no tel numbers for individual departments. Lady cut me off before I had finished conversation. Search will not bring up department.
