They lied at A&E, and they lied at the maternity unit. My daughter is 7 months pregnant, and was sent to A&E by her midwife on Friday with suspected thrombosis. They told her she would only be scanned on Monday or Tuesday, because they do not do ultrasound scans at weekends. We went from A&E to the maternity unit, where I showed the doctor RCOG Guideline 37B. He said this guideline does not apply to them, that this hospital follows different rules, and the scan would only take place next week. Despite this, the next day – Saturday at 11 am – she received a phone call telling her to attend for an ultrasound scan in one hour. There were many people waiting for scans in the department – so clearly this service IS available at weekends. This proves staff at both departments DELIBERATELY LIED, putting the life of my 7‑month pregnant daughter and her unborn baby at risk.

Excessive wait times, very rude staff and unhelpful doctors. Appalling care of patients and staff who do not know they are suppose to be caring for people who are ill, a true representation of the NHS! Bring in private health care and sack all the staff and hire some decent nurses and doctors!

They are very hardworking folks and very helpful but the people who are dispensing the medication needs to be proffessional sometimes. They was a girl dispensing the medication busy chatting instead of serving customers and she was on her phone.They need to be proffessional and making sure customers come first not phone’s.

Every time I have been in something has gone wrong, either the doctors are clueless and seem too lazy to figure out any problems, or the wait time has been ridiculous or we’ve missed appointments due to no parking spaces, it’s not great
