When a ccj form turns up on your doorstep even though you owe the money tick Defend all the claim the hearing will be heard at your local court not there's if they fail to turn up the case is dismissed if they do turn up prove hardship in front of the judge and if you stick to the judge recommend payments if you stick to it you are under court protection

Ignore this scum from Lowell. Don't pay them at all.

Lowell are a Debt collection company. Ignore them, they use scare tactics and send threatening emails that disappear after you open them. Do not give them money. Do not respond to them.

Couldn't agree more, time these parasites were put out of business

Send them a copy of the death certificate, it then becomes null and void

I've never had any trouble with Lowell Finance. They've been brilliant.

If your account is in default it stays on your file for 6 years, even if its closed

Lowell buy debts that people have not paid. The company has all your details including a phone contact number, as they own the debt they have the legal right to contact you. They help you manage your payments and as a company they are very understanding and caring too, not like some other companies. Your better off working with them not against them!

Yet I have never had a problem with Lowell if Im in a position that I can't make a payment I phone them and explain why I can't pay and they put my account on hold until I can make a payment also Lowell got hundreds of pounds slashed of my 2 accounts I have nearly paid off my debts thank's 2 Lowell and they send me a letter once every 6 months and a email every 6 months they have helped me sort out my debts and got advice on managing my payment plans for the whole year

I am taking them and their chummys capital one to court.

It is because they buy your debt for peanuts and still make profit but it's for a short time only

I would check with EE personally to see whether you actually owe the money, we had loads of letters from these for my sister (who doesn't even live at my address), for a service that we'd never even had.
