The only other place to put cooked waste is the grey bin, and raw food waste into garden compost. SHDC say they're going to get the recycling working - it has been working fine in other parts of the district so it's possible it will be working again soon.

I read somewhere that they were changing from Buckfastleigh to Follaton House from 7th April.

(I'm not a member of the council and im not sure if they review Google often ) Yes, provided they're not burning anything that violates the environmental regulations such as plastic, rubber etc If you're having problems with this I highly advise you try to tackle the problem as civilized as possible before going through official routes, as there's not much the council can do, especially if the land/house is privately owned/rented, try giving them a knock at the door, say hi, introduce yourself and tell them you're having problems with it, you'll be surprised at how many people who don't want to annoy their neighbours. If the neighbours house is rented from the council (or the housing associations that bought out most of the council houses) then you can go through a complaints procedure, asbo would be their main route Hope this helps and hope you can both sort out your problems and co exist happily All the best

Hi there, if there are no sandbags available at our recycling centre the best thing to do is contact a local builders merchant so that you can make your own. They do tend to run out very quickly unfortunately.

Hi there. Glanville's Mill itself is privately owned. You would need to carry out a land registry search to contact the owners. South Hams District Council are responsible for the Glanville's Mill short stay car park and Leonard's Road car park next to it.
