Hi - listen carefully. Volvo dealer hourly labour cost 179 pounds. You havent any control on that, how much hours they will working really on your car, maybe the managers will saying more, maybe not. Some not volvo salon experts if they change your timing belt, maybe they making mistake and they broke your timing on the car. Thats mean: first time for instant service you pay less than for volvo saloon, but in our case the consumption from 8.3 litre per 100km jumped up to 16.7 litre, so its was more than double! We had to force that service person, who caused this, he bought proper timing tools to the car and after 3 months he recalibrated proper way the engine timing, and the consumption jumped down again to 8.3 litre. So, recommended to use volvo service, because in these country too many self-trained professionals without special tools, and instead of special tools they using hammer, and they damage belt gear ... etc. Full cost will be around 750gbp - claim free software update!!!!
